Good choice on the dubstep mate! Where are you from? I've noticed it getting a lot more popular here in England recently, almost unheard of everywhere else though. I recommend anything by Kromestar, Caspa, Rusko, Benga, Plastician, Bar-9, Mistabishi, Herbdout, Datsik and Joker.

Im danish. Its been picking up a lot here aswell. More and more "big" concerts, with relativly big names popping up everywhere.
Couple of new names in there I have to check out, thanks for that.
Atm I listen to Boxcutter a lot, the Widdler, Rusko, Nero, Caspa when im more linear mode. On a dnb related note, Black Sun Empire actually makes some very solid dubstep: BSE - Hypersun
Also let me throw a very poppy (still good I think) nero remix in there which is very popular in Denmark atm. Blinded by the lights - nero remix

Yeah, it's definitely getting bigger in Europe, gradually making it's way across the pond, I know a few artists have played at a few nights on the east coast. If you like DnB you should check out Chase & Status, they also have a couple of dubsteppy tunes, also Roni size, London Elecktricity, Andy C, Concord Dawn and definitely High Contrast. I like that Nero mix of the Streets a lot. Here's a high contrast tune that's been all over the place here recently High Contrast - Hometown Glory (Adele)
I'm so glad I live in London, centre of DnB and Dubstep, get to see these guys play every weekend!
Edit : crap typing

Im actually not that into dnb, just thought it was a bit of fun trivia, with all the talk about Pendulum
Loving the Herbdout, Bar-9, and Joker btw. Especially Bar-9 hits my style very well

The dub is great for annoying pesky neighbours, that and making people who pull up in their cars blasting out hip hop feel silly, dubstep bass just blows it out the water. I fried my car's speakers a couple of weeks ago doing that

Thats particular song is actually one of their older ones, they have newer, equally awesome stuff as well. EVE Trivia EVE History

here's a great remix of Deadmau5 by caspa: I remember
One of my current favourites with more of a reggae feel Tryptomatik - Polizia Dreadlock
A great tune by The Others Africa VIP
My personal favourite of Rusko's Jahova
A dirty one from Stenchman Stenchman - 2muchket
A wobbly Remix of TC's Where's my money by Caspa Where's my money?
A couple by Skream including the now overplayed La Roux remix La Roux - In for the Kill ( Skream) gets brilliant at the end
Simple City - Skream
When I can be bothered to dig through my itunes collection I'll post some more links

Edited by: Arilaan on 07/10/2009 02:19:53 Never really bothered much with Dubstep even though it seems like every DnB producer tried to jump on the bandwagon for a quick cash in
BUT, you culd do worse than try this mix. I've been enjoying it the past few days Quite nice
Oh and have some Bug and Warrior Queen My speakers love that
