Launch Thread: Andron Blaxcor Bond (2bn)
Most of the details and a discussion of their origins can be found in the pre-launch thread http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1184256&page=1. There are, however, some small differences and a little extra detail in this post so I encourage all potential investors to read this thread carefully before investing. Basically, I am an established trader seeking to expand my business after creating new trade alts. I am in need of capital to do this and am proposing a 2bn bond fully backed by collateral and with an audit performed by Vaerah Vahrokha. The bond will last two calendar months (9 Oct-9Dec) and interest paid will be 15% in total.
My Business Plan
My trading strategy is a result of the fact that I spend around half of my year at university without enough time to play EVE in an intensive way. It is a simple strategy which uses buy orders to buy low and sell orders to sell high in certain areas. For obvious reasons I would prefer not to divulge the locations in which I trade nor the items in which I trade. I have developed a pattern which works well through trial and error and do not wish to increase competition through giving away my secrets. I will, however, explain my plan in more detail to the auditor who will confirm its validity to potential investors.
I will reveal that I trade across a large range of items, reducing my exposure to losses caused by price crashes on particular items. Currently I have trade assets of around 7bn and various assets (ships etc) belonging to Andron Blaxcor (who is also my PvP character) worth in the region of a few billion scattered around New Eden. Recently I have also created a corporation of dedicated trade alts, one of whom is fully operational, another of which has most skills required (due for completion around 13 Oct) and another who will reach maturity in mid-November. In addition, my main (Andron) also has sufficient skills to be a competent trader. I would like to keep the identities of my trade alts and their corporation confidential between myself and the auditor as I may, in the future, wish to perform other projects with public funding for which anonymity is preferential.
The maximum amount I have made using this method from one character is 75m/day. This was before I created my alts and was only using one character with a capital pool of 7bn. Currently my two operational characters are trading at about half this each due, in the most part, to lack of capital. Around Oct 10 Andron will begin trading again and the lack of capital will be acute, hence the bond. A good benchmark for how much I intend to make in profit is around 1% per day on capital invested. This proved accurate for amounts up to 7bn for a single character and is also what I am making currently from two under-financed characters. I do not anticipate the amount of capital per single character to exceed about 5bn in this period of trading. The fact that I will ultimately run four characters will reduce the amount of time I can spend on each characterÆs activities. This may reduce the total profitability slightly but, as I will be concentrating on the most profitable areas of my business I do not anticipate this dropping far below 1% daily. If I were to not make a profit on the 2bn loan it would require my daily profit to fall below about 0.25% daily which I do not think is likely. I will offer weekly reports on the forums to keep investors abreast of performance. Regardless of performance, the initial investment plus interest will be paid at the end of the period but I feel confident that I will make a profit.

Bond Details
Collateral totaling at least 2bn has been transferred to Vaerah Vahrokha. Isk from investors will be due on 9 October (this Friday). Two months later (9 Dec) the initial investment plus 15% will be paid back (i.e. investing 200m in October will mean you receive 230m in December). This equates to 7.5% non-compounding monthly interest or 7.2% compounding interest.
Exit Strategy
There are a number of ways in which your investment may end:
1.On 9 Dec all investors will be repaid including interest.
2.Any investor may request their isk back and, given two weeks notice, I will repay them with no interest.
3.I may cancel the bond at any point repaying investors along with the full 15% interest, effectively concluding the bond early.
4.I stop playing EVE, run off with you isk, get hit by a bus, etc. In this case Vaerah will liquidate the collateral and pay back investors. This should total at least 100% of the initial investment.
Risks
I will continue to spread capital across a number of items which I have found to perform well in the past. Thus, a crash from any of them would not endanger much capital and would likely be compensated for by profits made on other items. My trading strategy does not involve moving items from station to station so there is zero chance of losing items in transit. The biggest risk to capital from a business perspective is a sudden large collapse of multiple markets or myself accidentally entering too many zeros on a buy order. Even in this case the impact should be limited as, at any time, capital will be spread between four characters and each will typically hold about a quarter to a third of their capital in cash. I perceive the business risks of this venture to be low and, in any case, I have sufficient reserves that I should be able to pay back investors regardless.
The other major risk to investors is in me scamming or being hit by a bus (or similar vehicular mishap). I do not have much reputation in MD prior to this offering but, in lieu, I have consented to a full audit and 100% collateral. This would make it nigh-on impossible for me to come out of a scam with a profit as Vaerah Vahrokha would simply sell my collateral and repay investors in the case of me trying to elope with your investment. This also provides cover for you against any unfortunate involvement with a bus.
The audit performed by VV has the primary intention of proving I have:
1) Characters with the trading capabilities listed.
2) The approximate level of capital I claim to.
3) Been trading in a consistently profitable way for several months in a way matching the claims I made in the æMy Business PlanÆ section.
4) Never been involved in a previous scam and appear to be a main.
I also fully expect VV to draw any other information that may be relevant to the attention of the community.
Prior Reservations
Some reservations were made in the pre-launch thread. They were considered pending the details posted here and the result of the audit and so will have priority only for the next 24 hours. After this period any unconfirmed reservations will be cancelled and the remaining amount will be available for reservation by the rest of the community. These reservations are:

All of these reservees have been notified by eve-mail and have 24 hours to confirm their reservation. The reservations have precedence in the order they were placed, which is the order above. Camwor, if all other reservations are confirmed you may only reserve the remaining amount of 400m to bring the total to 2bn (this bond will not exceed that amount). Please note that this bond is entirely separate to the unsecured loan offered to me by flakeys.

There is now at least 2bn of confirmed investors (see post 6) so please do not post asking for a reservation. If you are down in post 6 as unconfirmed then please feel free to confirm your reservation. As I said previously, this evening (which is slightly more than 24 hours after the original post) the first 2bn worth of confirmed reservations will become the final investors. If, for whatever reason, an investor with a reservation pulls out before Friday (the day when isk will be transferred) then the reservation will trickle down that list. Sorry about the convoluted nature of this, as I said in the previous thread, I don't want to be caught out on going back to uni and be unable to perform the business plan.

Tanks Vaerah, I would like to be able to offer investment to all investors whoa re interested, but I don't think I could profitably use the isk at this point. I think that running four characters is as much time as I am willing to invest at the present time. I apologise to all those who are disappointed.

I apologise to those who are disappointed, in particular those who had the provisional reservations but missed the 24 hour confirmation period. I hope you understand why I ran the reservations in this way and tried to be as impartial as possible.
All being well, I will request isk transfer on Friday (9 Oct). Please do not transfer isk before I post as it may indicate an internet problem when I arrive at university. I do not anticipate a problem but I would prefer not to take any risks.
