Can some dev answer why we must choose region?
I would like to know more informationĘs about this event and about possibility to choose right region for my missions.
If I choose region for my candidate will I get voucher from every gallente corp. in this region?

My understanding is that the region stuff only applies if you successfully become one of the emmisaries. The emmisary for a candidate would organise the promotion of their candidate's policies within that region.
You would only get vouchers from one candidate/corp, after all you can only support one of them. I would also disregard the agent numbers/locations now, I wouldn't be suprised if they seed special agents for the length of the event.

Todays dev blog gives a little more insight, but still leaves many unanswered questions. 
Of course we have plenty of time yet to get more info.

Were you to do missions in the region you elected to compete for or is that up to you? Some regions have crap for agents...
Also are we looking at 500 people mobbing the few stations these corporations has or will they outsource their agents to work out of other corporations stations?
