If you're in a gang with someone in high sec, should concord still shoot you if you activate a module on them, e.g. webber? |

If the fleet members are not in the same corporation then CONCORD will respond when aggressive modules are activated.

You did read that big warning before clicking "yes" on the fleet invite, didn't you?

This! You turn it off, so you must have said "yes" to authorize CONCORD to vaporize your ship.
That or CONCORD killed you because the gang mate you were repping decided to authorize CONCORD to vaporize both of you.

Originally by: indiana bones Does seem a little strange tho if you're remote repping someone and then accidentally activate an agressive module on them.
Gang aggro mechanics have been repeatedly altered to make them stricter because people were using them creatively to gank people in hi-sec. Distinguishing between "accidentally" and "accidentally on purpose" is not easy.
TL;DR: People got ganked, people whined, CCP made gang mechanics as safe as possible. People still weren't happy.

Don't use neutral remote reppers!

I seem to recall that if I was at war and I ganged someone who was not involved in the war and those whom I was at war with showed up they could shoot at the unfortunate stranger in my gang... is this still the case?

Nope - fleet has no effect on war mechanics.
If they start repping you, things change, but this still has nothing to do with fleet itself.

It gets better! If someone else was repping you when you accidentally turned on that module, then they get CONCORDed, as well -- because they aided a criminal. Alliance RRBS fleets in high-sec are an invitation to disaster because of this...

can ccp please change it so fleet members that are in the same alliance will not be concorded
often enough alliance members from different corps assist in escorting freighters and orca's
and it also would allow for pew pew training ops where alliance pvp instructors can train noobs in the art of tackle, ecm, remote rep, and tanking SIG: if my message has spelling errors its cos i fail at typing properly :P |

I agree. CCP should expand the CONCORD-free-pew-pew to include Alliance members, and not just Corporation members. It makes sense, and there's absolutely no reason to not make the change.
It would also be nice to revisit gang-on-gang violence. Perhaps an additional option to allow any member within your fleet to shoot you? This option would have to be manually turned on each time, and it would always present a warning box. I think that's a simple fix that will allow people to duel and test setups on each other, while at the same time protecting the newer players from accidents. ------------------------------------ I support the following changes:

I am in favour of this. It makes smartbombing people with alliance bros in highsec impossible.

i disagree. when we were in Band of Bastards (BoB) alliance we liked being in our own corp, but part of the alliance. that way, only people we trusted very well could shoot us.
