Edited by: Cearain on 09/10/2009 14:18:24 I put in a Zainou 'Gypsy' KLB-25 implant that should decrease cpu needs and it did. But eft says my overall power grid decreased as well? I don't see in eft or in the item database that this implant decreases power grid.
heres the item in the database:

The link is broken. Also, you'd probably be better of posting in the offical EFT thread if you're really sure this is a bug. --- Sol: A microwarp drive? In a battleship? Are you insane? They arenĘt built for this! Clear Skies - The Movie

I just tested it in the current version of EFT and it worked as it's supposed to. It lowered the CPU requirement of modules that require Electronics Upgrades but didn't effect my powergrid at all. Since you're trying to use it I'm assuming that you can't fit something without it. Are you onlining a module or rig that decreases grid after you add this implant?

Ive had problems with eft results too. Im not using any skill implants but I notice the cap time is always different between my eft fit and in game fit. Didnt bother to thoroughly check it all out but Im pretty sure weapon ranges vary as well.

Well, yeah, you shouldn't be using EFT to get exact numbers on combat related stuff anyway. It's a tool to help you fit your ship, anything beyond that is just gravy. If it's not working the way (you suspect) it's supposed to then bug report it. Rule number 1 of ship theory-crafting.... never trust EFT numbers (EHP, DPS, etc).

ok I was using 2.10.4 not the 2.11 version. The latest version does not seem to have the problem I described above.
