I trained scientific networking to 3 in hopes to be able to install job in my pos remotely. Well to my surprise I was not able to do so it is limited to npc stations. I think you should be able to install the jobs remotely in a pos. At lest when You read the description of the skill it leads you to think yo should be able to. Well at least I did anyway.

scientific networking works fine.
put your BPOs in your corp hanger and work from there.
YOU don't own the POS so you can't access it from your personal hanger.
edit to add: except invention, those you ahve to install locally since the odds and ends have to be in the POS.
also worth noting copies of BPOs will deliver to the POS's labs not the corp hanger.

Same here. It would be really helpful if the scientific networking skill would be improved to work with pos.

but the corp owns the pos and ScNet also works with bpos in the corp hangar of station, so as ceo/director you basicly own the stuff anyway
so why not? :p

The BPO's need to be local to the POS. Given the value of some BPO's CCP realized popping a POS with a capital ship BPO in it would be big business and would likely result in large numbers of petitions they allowed the BPO to stay in a station in the same system.
Scientific network allows you to start jobs remotely not run them remotely with your BPO in another system.
