Hello
Got some questions regarding boosting faction standings (yes not corp, particularly). My first question is quality. I've asked in help channel if quality affects standing increase, and I get 50% no answers, and 50% yes answer. So if anybody, who really knows this, could tell me I'd be great, no guesses please
Second question is if I'm better of finding a high quality hauling agents, since AFAIK, higher quality means less jumps to haul. Hauling seems to be much quicker than doing missions, and thus getting quickly through the 16 missions needed for storyline.
Third question, the storyline agents I've got missions from seems not to care about their division, I've often pulled 2 encounter missions in a row on a division storyline agent having a very low chance for giving encounter missions, so am I just lucky or does this work?
And last question, since encounter storyline missions are the win, good reward and standing increase, I'm wondering if there is a way to trigger an encounter storyline agent more often (if as said above, division does play a role)?
This is purely from L4 agents.
Thanks in advance!

Edited by: Mal Lokrano on 11/10/2009 17:19:20 Don't have an answer for the first.
Second: Quality only effects the lp and base payouts for the agent. Hauling range is random.
Third: Story-line agents are not like regular agents, they have a much more limited pool to pull missions from, thus you are more likly to get the opposiste missions from that agent.
Last: storyline agents are tied to the amount of missions you have run for a faction, Every 16 missions you complete the nearest storyline agent will unlock and give you a single mission. It is the same no matter if you are doing couriers or kill missions. Story-line agents don't always belong to the same corp either, but they always belong to the same faction. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Regarding your first question (agent Q effecting standing increase...) I have done some experimentation on this and found that a given mission from a -13Q agent and a 18Q agent gave me the same standings increase with the corp. Mind you this was my own experiement and was done using a fairly small set of data (i managed to pull 3 of the same missions between the 2 agents when i was doing the experiment) but based on the fact that the 3 common missions all came out with the same standings gain I am assuming that there is no correlation with agent quality. <-------------------------------------------------> "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -Albert Einstein |
