I found the perfec gas mine ship on the EFT,The Opux Luxury Yacht cruiser, CCP no need to change nothing,only add 3 more turret harpoint.Could be a ORE syndicate new design.

i try to answare this posts
1. ok my mistake, when i said no need to change is because this ships was already exist, no need to balance because has no cobat bonus, and if ccp is worried to use this new barge in combat can add penalys like:
Penalty: -25% rate of fire for all turrets
Penalty: -25% damage for all turrets
the ship only need 3 more turret harpoint to fit 5 gas harvest
2. if you worried abaut "luxury", ccp can easily removed the mp3, gps and airbags.
3. WH are mass afected 7 or 8 of this ship have the same megathron mass.
4. i actualy use a brutix but in this ship with full expanded and 3 cargo rig can hauld more a 11.000 m3.

true, but with 5 high slots, and 5 gas harvesters this will leave u no room for a probe launcher, the megathron has 8 high slots allowing u to fit 5 harvesters and leaving 3 free slots and can with stand far far more damage then the yachts, which is needed when your dodging WH rats or 0.0 rats.
if anything it will end up probably end up being a ORE ship

hurricane makes a great gas harvester, 2k cargo and enough highs for 5 harvesters, a gang link and some to spare.

any of the turret battlecruisers make fantastic gas miners. and can fit a probe launcher for finding your way out when you get stranded and such too.

If you're going to do it, do it right:
1. Give the Skiff an extra high utility slot (probe launcher)
2. Create a new gas harvester turret and T2 variant which only fits on Exhumers
3. Grant a new bonus to the Skiff in regards to gas harvesting similar to its mercoxit bonus or the Mackinaws ice bonus. This ensures its the best gas harvesting ship.
Now you'll have a dedicated gas harvesting barge.
I chose the Skiff because you don't see very many of them. I see plenty of Hulks and Mackinaws already.
Or you could just create a brand new Exhumer that covers gas harvesting.

i like the fact that gas mining doesnt take much of a SP commitment to be good at. Both my alt and my main have Gas Mining V.
Lets keep it that way.
