Hi there!
Just wondering which Amarr corporation is best for mission running. That is, Amarr navy? Or is there a better one, counting standing and all that.
Thanks, Nebarus

99% of the time the best NPC corp to do missions for if you are looking for combat is the <Local> Navy. At least that is my experience. I have been doing 4s for Federation Navy and Caldari Navy for a while now and VERY rarely do I ever get anything but a combat mission. Once in a blue moon I might get a courier mission. -----------------------------------

DEPENDS!
What kind of missions are you looking for? You care about being KOS in minmatar space? You want standing to lower refining tax? You want standing to lower market tax? Where do you want to run missions? ...

I like to play this game because it make my in-game actions and archievments to mean something in-game. |

Well...
I don't really want to be killed on sight in Minnie space..
As for the refining tax, I don't really care. Market tax seems more interesting to me, as for where to run missions.. Hi-sec :P
Does that change anything? :S

If your standing with an empire faction drops bellow -5.0 you will be shoot by NPC when you enter their sovereign space. When you kill NPC you will lose standing with their faction. Mission where you need to kill oposite empire faction ship are fairly common with the navies.

Navies are good for combat missions, but they have a down-side: all the systems with the best agents are swarming with ninja salvagers.
Theology Council, Ducia Foundry, both have good level 4 hisec agents. Check eve-agents.com
Helps to have a lot of agents from unpopular divisions of several corps, so you can pick all the combat missions and decline the rest.

Also, the lower security of the system, the better gain from agents. Doesn't really have an effect when you start, but later on, an agent in 0.5 (which is still hisec, though CONCORD takes longer to react) will be better than a roughly comparable quality agent in 1.0.
You might want to check http://eve-agents.com/ and cross-check the information with the ingame map. Optimally, you want a level four agent or several in your chosen field in a place which is hisec (0.5 - 1.0, the lower the better) with no neighbouring lowsec. (Unless you're willing to risk going to lowsec and/or want some friendly pew pew with local pirates.)
Also, to start, you might want to have an agent which is close to a storyline agent of the same corp. You will get a storyline (important mission invite) every 16th regular mission or so. Those do also give at times quite considerable standings increases for the corp - enough that it might justify running even lower-quality agents while you are gaining standings to use the level fours.

YAY! Possible proof Im not trippin' or not the only one tripping.
Set eve-agent to lvl 4 only and Federal Intel Office and you get the same, I had to use the name and search people/places to get a real result ...
I was like 'isn't veldspar a rock?'. Well, I am a newbie.

As a note, that's the result EVE-Agents gives when the agent is not in station. This happens to agents in space (COSMOS, for example).

I've seen this too and tried to find the system on the ingame map without success. I understand that Chribba maintains several EVE related sites and assume Eve-Agents.com is one of them and this is meant as a joke or a mark of respect to him.

It's Chribba's website. Those are placeholders for incomplete data CCP didn't provide in their database dump.

Ah, I see o.o
Well, .. :D
Anyways, I decided to take Ministry of War, they seemed to have some nice higher lvl agents in .8 space. Couldn't find any Amarr combat agents in .5 though, with no low-sec systems around it.
But maybe I missed something :)
