To me the character Bazaar has always been one of the more exciting aspects of the game.
I've been playing EvE for a few years now and I have bought and sold over 15 characters. I haven't really made alot of money but I always made a little, now you have to give away your character away for 0 down with 1 month free rent and 2 GTCs and quite frankly I think it is Bull Poop.
Almost every character put up for sale just sits there and gets bumped a million times by it's owner and nothing sells.
If you do happen to sell something you took a ridiculous loss or wasted your time and money.
It really took a lot of enjoyment away, when the character market tanked since then I have quit 2x out sheer boredom with my current characters.
Unfortunately my will to play EvE is kinda withering away, I want to downsize from 6 accounts to maybe 2 and do other things but I refuse to take a loss on my characters so I will continue to train and hold 6 accounts so when they hit 40+million Sp maybe I too can get 13-15b for no other reason then it is 10 million SP more then 30+ million and until Ill be forced to sell my 30 million skillpoint characters for less then half that which ****** me off to no end and makes me wanna go Nucking Futs.
Please forgive my rants, but it would be nice to see some change. I feel like the character bubble collapsed and now I am uspide down in my mortgage. They gave us a bailout over here IRL so why not give us bailout here in the character market. Help some of these guys find new homes where people might enjoy them or what not.....

The reason prices went down is Unholy rage seems like to me. So i think it's a good thing if anything.

I have bought and sold over 15 characters too, and made large amounts of ISK from it. So you're doing it wrong. Since you so shrewdly observed that characters are selling at an all time low, maybe now is a good time to buy.

I do think i publically want to say how amny chars ive sold but its a damn site more than 15 :P

Like Gerdan said ive traded chars for about 3 years now and theres still plenty money to be made if you do it right
