Yes i was (am) little bored, and since there isn't Marauder with drone bonuses i decided i'd see what the expensive T3 cruiser could do.
[Proteus, Drone Marauder]
6 Low slots
4 Med slots
6 High slots
Proteus Defensive - Nanobot Injector (+10% armor repair per lvl)
Proteus Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer (+20% tractor range and velocity per lvl)
Proteus Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir (+5% drone MWD, +7.5% drone hp per lvl)
Proteus Offensive - Drone Synthesis Projector (+10% drone dmg, +7.5% drone hp per lvl)
Proteus Propulsion - Gravitational Capacitor - this i did choose simply for the extra mid slot (more cap rechargers or utility), but i guess the ones with +1 low slot or the one that increase agility by 5% per lvl could do the job.
* Possible to get over ~1500 DPS tank (rat specific) with just T2 modules (faction and deadspace or even officer mods will increase this ofcourse).
* 225m3 drone pay, 100 bandwith.
* Double tractor range and speed.
* Approx cost: ~600 mil (includes hull+subsystems, but not the fittings)
* ~30k EHP without any modules (2300 hull, 4500 armor, 3000 shields)
* 512 CPU and 1368 PG
Meh, since CCP don't give me one, i'll make one! 
Only thing that keeps me away from the above setup is the price tag, since Domi offers:
More drone bay and bandwith at the cost of:
Little less tank, drone hitpoints, speed and less tractor range/speed

More drones, almost as durable drones, more drone damage, more drone range, same level tank, same speed.
You miss out on drone speed (pff! sentries ftw!), some drone HP (assuming you max out the subsystem skills) and the tractor bonus. And on that topic, the Proteus' cargo hold is so tiny that you won't be able to fit much of the stuff you tractor in.
The Proteus just isn't a very good PvE boat.

It fits all the salvage and pretty much all the valuable modules. That said, you'd be far better off with a domi doing the popping, and a proteus there only to salvage and loot.

Yes but that Proteus can fit a Probe Launcher and has more mobility with a MWD.
