Can anyone please tell me what the best battleship is.
I have used a Apocolyspe and I wasn't impressed.

All BS are pretty much equal. It's just how you use them that matters.

Skills pretty much determine how you use a battleship...Any Battleship can be very effective with the right skills. I currently use my Apoc as a mining ship and my Arma as a fighting ship...But I have also very frequently reversed those roles. Its all in the setups and your skill level...

Skills pretty much determine how you use a battleship...Any Battleship can be very effective with the right skills. I currently use my Apoc as a mining ship and my Arma as a fighting ship...But I have also very frequently reversed those roles. Its all in the setups and your skill level...

the best battleship needing least amount of skillpoints to be effective is a raven.
the rest need good skills to be effective.
i sell raven bpc if your interested btw :)

I would suggust a scorpion if you have low skill points for PVP. A raven requires good engineering skills for pretty much every setup bar one, whereas a scorp can be an effetive dampener/cycle jammer with negligable skills. Plus the battleship bonuses on a scorp are next to worthless, meaning that you dont have to train caldari BS 4.
For NPC, take an arma or an apoc. You'll need fairly good skills to tank them up though. Pretty much the same goes for a mega or a domi - need good engineering, electronics, navigation, gunnary, and battleship skill for those.
There arent enough skills in the game to make minmatar battleships good atm. Nothing they do cant be done better by something else.
