hi guys I just tried to make a new account, but due to CCP not being able to accept proper credit cards (let along via electron) I would have to use paybycash. The stated price for paybycash is 25 euro's, so why then when it came to make the payment were they wanting 35 euros?

I had a similar problem when activating my second account after giving it a mucn needed 'break'
Signed on for 1 month again and was charged for 3. My subscription updated to 3 months of course but again, I had only signed up for 1 month intervals and charged for 3.
Maybe they are charging you for more then one?

its just weird and annoying when I have credit cards I have I pay for alsorts online by from amazon pay final fantasy 11 alsorts but im damned if I can pay for eve. I think I will wonder down to the shops and see if maybe I can pick up a retail copy (last I heard you can get one for ú9.99 which is certainly cheaper than 35 euro's).

I seen it in the 3 games for ú15 at game recently :0

I really don't see why CCP can't accept these cards themselves, it would make it far easier. I pay with Visa Electron, and this means I have to go through both PayByCash AND PayPal in order to get my money to CCP. It would make it much easier for everyone involved by cutting out the useless middlemen (obviously they would complain because they are out of business, but who cares about them).
If they can afford to manufacture Quafe then they can afford to set up a decent billing department

Here to add even more confusion I bought a retail copy of the game (for ú4.99) I regged the key then it wanted me to give it some kind of payment info, fair enought I will try my mastercard. Nope notworks (I ring my bank they say its nothing at their end), so I try my visa electron and thats not working to (also checked with bank and they said its also not at their end). So that left paybycash. So I have to sign up with them and make a 1 months payment before I can play my 30 day free trail.
Upto looking into this in more detail I find that its actually given my 2 months of play time, sure this is all fine and good but what I resent is being forced to pay more than I need to and to have to pay for a free trial.
