Since my other alt isn't training anymore, i decided i will use one of the remaining slots to make missioner alt to speed up things a little (main flys Domi with AFK sentry fit). I decided that a Raven pilot would be the best as you can easily change your damage type.
So here is the initial plan for the duration of 100% boost: Engineering: * Engineering 4 * Energy System Operation 4 * Energy Managment 4 * Energy Grid Upgrades 4
* Shield Upgrades 4 * Shield Managment 4 * Shield Operation 4 * Tactical Shield Manipulation 4 * Shield Compensation 4
Electornics: * Electronics 4 * Electronics Upgrades 3
* Target Painting 3
Mechanic: * Hull Upgrades 4 * Mechanic 4
* Jury Rigging 3 * Shield Rigging 3 * Launcher Rigging 3
Social: * Connections 4 * Negotiation 3 * Social 3
1,5mil SP used, 100k to go. Learnings will be what ever EVEMon suggests.
After it's done i would do the learnings to 4/4 (except charisma) and use the first remap and go for per/wil and train for Raven,missile skills, AWU etc. and perfect them. Goal would be that one day this character will be flying a Golem.
This would leave me with 1 remap left, which i could use after i'm done with per/will stuff and train the int/mem stuff to all 5 (that are needed for a raven/golem pilot) and better learnings.
How does the above plan for this character sound? Might not be the best optimal, but using the first remap (after the 100% boost is gone) for per/will would allow me to fly raven fairly fast with decent tanking/cap skills. One way could maybe be to use the 100% boost to get in raven with half decent missile kills and then use the remap for tanking/cap skills. But basicly it's the same as i see it.
TIA!

If its an alt why bother with the Social skills ? Id get Salvage up to 4 and use them as a salvager. Maybe get the rep skills up use them as band aid for the Domi

Will you be flying the raven along side your dominix? and you're missing targeting/navigation skills. would also recommend seeing the required fitting skills for a golem before you remap

Well, the social skills allow me to quicker get to high standings, which allows me to use the agents without the need for my main. As well as increase the lp/isk you get when you share the rewards (which i have to do if i want to get standings up on the Raven pilot). By the time i get into Golem, i don't see the need to dualbox the missions anymore, due to the speed at which Golem can swim through missions.
I was thinking about making it logistics alt, which would allow me to drop tank from the Domi for more gank, but that's all it would allow me to do.

At the start, yes, the Raven pilot will be flying along with my Domi. But once i get my missile skills maxed (or near), and after i've trained T2 light/mediums, i plan to run Missions solo on the raven. Oh yeah, i will use the remaining 100k of the boost to get some targetting skills up. Not sure about the Navigation skills (other than Navigation itself for the 5% speed increase).
Ps. At first i was thinking to train for Nightmare or Paladin, but due to the limited dmg types you can deal, i wasn't sure if it would do that well outside of Amarr space (i plan on mainly doing missions in Gallente space), so i decided to go the Raven/CNR/Golem way instead.

Honestly, first thing I'd do is Social 5/Connections 4/corresponding LP skills to 5. The approximately 2 weeks to do it really is not that long when you consider a) how much faster you get to the better L4 agents so you can earn more money and b) how much more LP you get = much more money earned. Those are pretty crucial skills IMO no matter what agent or corp you decide to mission for.

Why not train up your other alt to fly Raven instead of start a new one? It might make him a bit more valuable if you ever sell him and a low skill Raven pilot is pretty worthless. I understand if your other alt is a -10 pirate or whatever.
I eat up missions with a sentry domi fit like this. Faction fit it gets pretty close to Kronos dps. My other alt is in a CNR and definitely is faster (and lower skill points) but really I just don't see the point in starting a new character when you have an existing one on that account already trained for whatever.

Probably the main advantage lies in not having to move the characters around. I have a mission running alt on a separate account to my main and a salvage alt on the same account as my main. I'll also soon have an orca/industry alt on the mission account as well.
Why? My main doesn't "live" near to where I like to run missions so it can be a pain in the ass to have to move or jump clone down there to either run salvage duty or dual gank through them. This way I can mish and salvage at the same time and if my main is needed I don't have to worry about being 30 odd jumps out and waiting off a JC timer. I just dump the salvage alt and log in.

I thought about that, but the first thing that did come into my mind was that; what if other of the alts becomes useless to me? Having 2 alts, each focused on their thing allows me to sell the useless one (to me) and get some extra cash (you never can have too much ISK).
Now if i would train both of the "paths" into one character, i couldn't sell the "useless" one for extra cash, as i would lose both. Sure, the value of the alt would rise a little with more skills, but as i said, i couldn't really sell it for the extra ISK as i would lose the usefull skills as well.
Oh and, as the plan is eventually get the Raven pilot into a Golem, it wouldn't be really that "low skilled".
edit: Oh and what Sytoru Hiroshyma said is also one thing. The "freedom" you have with more characters.
