/with all the coding and artwork that will have to be dedicated to make this happen... is it not a jesus feature?
i thought you guys were going against jesus features but now this is your one main thing that you want to be redone...
dont get me wrong i fully support the enhanced modular pos idea... i just think its hypocritical to claim you are against jesus features when you are proposing one...

For me you have to come to an agreement as to what a "Jesus Feature" is. For me its some giant totally new thing that isn't in the current game in some form.
The POS revamp has been discussed and promised in some form for a while now. While it is a major feature improvement it is also much needed evolution of an existing feature. So not a "Jesus Feature".
There are a number of features I hope to see from CCP that might be a lot of work, like ring mining, that are an evolution of existing Eve experiences.
A "Jesus Feature" would be something totally not in Eve at the moment like surface vehicles for first person avatar planetary exploration and colony habitat construction.

fair enough i was interpreting a "jesus feature" as something that would take alot of devs to work and and thus would have to let other areas of the game fall behind just to finish it... i was not differentiation from old and new feature but recourse allocation for development...

POS revamp = cool. I really liked some of the modular design concept art that came up with discussions on it a couple years ago.
POS *MANAGEMENT* revamp = far more awesome IMO but hey, you take what you can get. Maybe next pass at these things and people are more married to eye-candy changes these days.  |

yeah it is too soon to resurrect that career. I think jesus feature is anything bigger then faction warfare or involves the whole game to implement and not everyone owns or uses poses.
I will not be voting in the CSM election, so you need to go vote to make up for me. |

My understanding of a Jesus Feature is one which so spellbinds CCP at the management level that they believe that this is the Next Big Thing that will Change Eve Forever, that they have to shove aside everything else that they were working on and the customers were requesting and expecting, and that throwing a couple of years of development at something like the hopelessly limited Captain's Quarters is a sensible and sane use of resources.

Wouldn't CSM be a Jesus feature as well then? A brand new thing, that brings in more subscriptions and good press to the game?
I suppose it wasn't one, since CCP mostly ignored them for awhile and went ahead with other jesus features, then them.

current POS mechanics are so bad that CCP should cut subscription fees to half
honestly, if you look at eve today you might think why the f you are paying for it, unless you're like blind and mentally limited.
quality offered is not really what you should get for that money.
