Get some PvP experience, sort out those killboard stats.
Then take on a few private and unannounced contracts. Target corps that get publicity on C&P.
THEN post here with an Ad. thread.
Otherwise you are just strapping lean steak to yourself and streaking through a Lion Enclosure.

All right, free advice: before you start taking contracts of your own, you need to build up killboard stats. Do some "practice contracts"--by which I mean pick a few corps to war dec, and shoot at them for a few weeks until you've got your skills, numbers and stats up. Then, once you're confident you can deliver the goods (and not before) offer to do a few contracts for the price of the war dec fee. That will build you a satisfied customer base who can say nice things about you, assuming you don't **** it up like a certain other new mercenary corporation with a horribly formatted ad post and a terrible killboard. Then, and only then, will you be ready to move into the big time, and start actually taking pay for your contracts.

I have already agreed to 2 contracts so will be completing them first.
We will not be accepting anymore contracts for atleast 1 possible more week(s)

First off the corp was disbanded due to contracters deciding not to pay for the wars they asked us to take on.
Secondly as the corp was disbanded i saw no point keeping the killboard up
Thirdly only 1 customer paid for thier war and they only paid for the dec which we completed before disbanding.

Oh my, podded by a battlecruiser as well. 
I know some mercs get hired to pad kill board's but not usually this way !!!
