I propose that CCP could hold a "Faction War"
As in Gallente/Minnmatar vs. Caldari/Ammar.
With fleets made up of ships from their respective faction.
Each faction should field a Titan each, and a set number for each class of ships.. 3 carriers 3 dreads 15 bs's ..and so on..
Potential Fleet commanders for this event, should be listed.. so the community could vote on them.. maybe SQ's aswell.
The fleet ledership would be responible for picking the best of the best pilots for their fleet.
There should ofc be prizes for the winning faction.. be it ISK or special ships..
The "well known" video makers of the community, should also be given access to the location where this event would take place.
So we get some good drool-videos, also it works good as advertising for the game i think :)
just a lil idea.. sounds cool?

wouldnt really be "grand" enough for factions that can destroy planets.
id say
20titans (with doomsday)
20motherships (ouch)
100 dreads (bringing in the hurt)
200carriers (let the swarm begin)
500battleships (FIREPOWAHH)
700battlecruisers (awesome)
1000 cruisers (not a typo)
2000 frigs (the bigger swarm bigins!)
the only problem with this is that all eve's servers would be set to the one system this battle would be set in

and the hamsters would still die

well.. the numbers would need to be under the "lag-o-rama" mark ofc.. maybe each faction shhould have a max amount of 150 ships

Is anyone forgetting "sandbox"?
Listen, it doesn't matter how big things get.
I was flying through Amarr / Minnie FW lowsec the other day in a shuttle. While out of FW at the moment, I was simply waved at by a sizeable Amarr BS Fleet who were all orderly in their nice shiny golden ships.
Come two jumps later I encounter the Minmatar, who are all red-flashy, some shooting each other, some not in FW but are War-deccing Amarr corps.
Truly a spectacle. Something amazing to see... Even if it was only 200 people involved in all from both sides. Why do you need more? Its emergent... Its pure... Its ALIVE!!!
