For those of you interested in the doings of the CSM, I've thrown together a pair of lengthy blogs detailing what I can about our recent visit to Iceland. We are currently working on the official minutes and are hoping to have them done and ready for release by the end of the month. Once we have a firm release date in sight, I will announce a date for our second 'Town Hall' meeting so the community can ask us a bit more about the summit and whatever else is on your minds. In the meantime this pair of blogs should hopefully answer some questions while we work on the more detailed stuff:

The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |

don't confuse my disdain for useless expenditures with bitterness. I read the blog and there was nothing in there that requires a group of "chosen ones" to relay to the customer base.
The CSM has become a joke, and a bad one at that. I love that you want to be a part of something important, but the sad fact is you're paid patsies, a puppet government used for PR, you get wined and dined and sit around watching CCP work and then relay less information (due to NDAs and other legal poop) than the average Dev puts in a blog post.
you are bloat, plain and simple.

CCP Unifex should be putting out a blog in the next couple weeks about some of the stuff we discussed. Part of our meeting on Incarna was about what would or wouldn't be a good idea and how to best present it all. This is progress considering last year's train wreck. The truth is somewhere in the middle, while CSM most definitely is an investment from CCP with an expected return profit they (CSM) are also gaining vital information on how CCP works. The players elected them, and the CSM state what their opinions are, and reflect to the community what they can. Naturally there is a pressure on the CSM to act civil and to be "diplomatic", but they are also able to state the hard facts to CCP.
The CSM however is not what some people seem to think they are, a direct link between the players and the actions of CCP. CCP appreciates the input (otherwise they do not have a business, which was a hard learned, but still learned lesson). The influence over CCP decisions is overstated but still present. I think that when the community says "NO" with a loud and united voice they (CCP) have to listen.
The individual or smaller groups of individuals however have no bearing on anything, even if they voted. Just like in real life politics. Ronald Reagan: I do not like Sweden, they support communism. Minister: Sir, but Sweden are anti-communist, Sir.-á Ronald Reagan: I do not care what kind of communists they are. |

Nothing on the death of the Incursion communities in NULL/LO Sec? HI SEC communities are on life support too... I guess if it doesn't affect 0.0 Alliances or Mercenaries it doesn't matter to CSM7. I assume you saw the numbers on this: have the Drone bounties exceeded the amount of ISK taken out with the Incursion NERF? http://memegenerator.net/instance/21816812 |

Ok read the whole thing and i am getting excited...
just a few questions
1. iteration is there any plan to iterate on missions/complexes ? i know they added in a few complexes for serp... but in all the mission system has not been really iterated since i started to play in 06... (ok so they got rid of quality and stuff but angel extravaganza is still the same)
2. any hint on the new ships... pretty please...
3. since ccp tallest is back any chance he will iterate on weapon balance... we were so close to a great breakthrew in balance before the twins were born... i just hope that this is not put on the back burner for another year...

You assume that nullsec alliances don't run Incursions? Also, what about the recent devblog where they rolled back then 10% isk and system control nerfs? Self-appointed forums hallway monitor |

This is all being worked on right now. There was a dev blog released today. If you check some of the replies in the comment thread of that blog there's more information about what the dev team is doing. It's not being left alone by any means.
