Hi all,
Firstly, have searched high and low, probed my alliance chat, no luck as yet. Hopefully someone on here can help!
We're just getting into the realms of Polymer Reacting as a corp, and im setting up the POS Modules as we speak (or rather, type) My problem lies with inputting the materials and, (i dont know if its obvious) but i havent had a great deal of experience with industry POS modules in general, and each time i attempt to follow <http://www.eve-guides.com/ui/polymers.php> this guide which states to online all modules first, i cannot place into the silos the materials for the reactions - im getting a error about managing modules whilst ohnline, please offline etc etc.
Is this normal? And if so, do i need to make sure i put the materials in the Silos before i online them, and set up the connections, or am i doing something completely daft 
Setup:
Silo ............->
BioChemical Silo ->..... Polymer Reactor -> .... Hybrid Polymer Silo
Biochemical Silo ->

You cannot access silos while they are online.
Make sure to learn when your tower "ticks" (consumes fuel), that's when the reaction happens, so make sure everything is online at that time. It takes 3 minutes to online a silo.
For example, my tower ticks at 24m 14s past the hour. It moves a bit, so I try to recheck it whenever I get the chance.
Easy way to figure out the time: remove some fuel (like robotics) so you have less than a day of fuel (23 Robotics = 23 hours). Not all of the fuel of course! You will get an e-mail with the timestamp the next time the tower ticks. Don't forget to put the fuel back.
Once you know the tick time, it is easy to keep track of it by watching the fuel, or noting when your reaction product increases in the output silo.

The silos must be offline to place materials in them, the note about putting them online is in relation to the first time you set up the reaction, you need to create the links to let the reactor know which silos to take materials from an place the finished product into. For this at least the reactor needs to be online, but it's safe enough to put everything online. You should put in the materials first.

Nothing needs to be online to create the links actually.
