Well, I left to pursue other interests in game, many others left as the Otou pocket is pretty dead and Lark went on a scamming spree and well....the rest is history I suppose.
It's sad really. I do miss those days a bit.
Neo Spartans is currently in a state of sleep, the main reason this happend was because Ga'len once lost three Falcons in a row to our bitter enimies The United, after this he lost an uber fail fit Zealot to The United, then he tried to blame cute little shigsy for giving him the fit, this caused tension within the corp and so lark was forced to find ways of bringing us back togther as friends again.
To do this Lark decided that we should work on our team bonding skills by playing such games as Counter Strike Source & Team Fortress 2, Ga'len was invited to hang with us "Cool kids" in the hope that he could somehow find a way to get along with Shigsy, Unfortunatly this plan backfired in epic ways we could not see as Ga'len was always becoming stuck in the "Geometry" and always cost our team the chance to win, this lead to even more tension within the corp as many members did not want Ga'len on there CSS or TF2 teams.
Eventually Ga'len decided to leave Neo's as he became aware that he was at fault for our terrible efficiency against The United, with Ga'len gone we no longer had a POS jockey and our moon mining backbone started to crumble as noone else was interested in refueling our POS network, this resulted in the majority of our POS's being abadoned.
To compensate Lark was forced to infiltrate the CSM in the hopes of gaining "Insider Information" which he then planned to share with the rest of our remaining members at the yearly "Gay Spartan BBQ" which we all hoped would see us make enough ISK to replace the heavy losses we had been taking at the hands of The United, unfortunatly Lark was caught with his pants down and was booted from the CSM aswell as given a 30 day ban.
To those that knew us you would have known that Lark was the only capable FC we had, with Lark banned & playing WoW the majority of our members found themselves spinning ships all day, while at the same time our enimies in the Rancer pocket started to become "self aware" they learned at a geometric rate how to fit MWD's on there ships and soon put us under more pressure than we could handle without Lark.
In the end our demise was a slow and painfull one, we tried to tempt Ga'len back to rejoin us in the hope that he could once again manage our crumbling forum's and POS/Moon mining backbone & even promiseed him we would belive his story that he "survived a double PL DD in the 6NJ system" even tho we had evidence that PL were nowhere near said system on the day he claimed.
Ga'len refused our offer and instead went on to pastures new, our towers began to fall in quick succession with Kennith Mccoy even ninja stealing one of our moons for himself, our forums broke down and became a magnete for enemy spy's and our member base became full of fail PvP'ers that trolled each other over stupid matters, not long after we found ourselves hit by a Corp thief "Jogvan" and was forced to close our door's.
One day we may reopen, but untill then we are asleep, I thank our friends for supporting us and our enimies for giving us the good fights that made this game worth playing.
