Im ammarr and been running a probe with hull expanders doing lvl 3 agent courier missions almost exclusively for 6 months. (gez, i have all the routes memorized now! lol). I have plenty of cash finally to move up. I want to know what fighting ship I should work with as I move up the chain of training should be. I want to do kill missions now. Is the Thorax the correct route or do I try a different ship? I would assume I would get new agents and have to do all kill missions starting at lvl 1 till I get to lvl 3 again.
Please type your guidance here.

Not necessarily. Whichever organization you've been doing missions for will have allies for whom your standings will also have gone up. You will probably be able to find a (lower quality) level 3 agent right away, if you pick the right org. Check your standings.

Not necessarily. Whichever organization you've been doing missions for will have allies for whom your standings will also have gone up. You will probably be able to find a (lower quality) level 3 agent right away, if you pick the right org. Check your standings.

A Thorax? You're Amarr! I highly recommend doing a few level 2 kill missions in a Punisher, then moving up to a Maller for level 3.
(What am I picking on this guy for? I'm Gallente and I fly a Maller.  )

Caracal. Nothing beats its ease of use and mission completion speed.
Or take a look at the Maller, since with the right setup it can almost match the Caracal. It does take some skills to fit and fly the whole thing, unlike the Caracal, which is just 5 launchers, some shield tank and mindless pressing of F1-F5.

Wow!! I'm shocked that 2 female Characters would respond to my post regarding killing! Where are all the men responses? Out Bar-B-Que'ing for the families?
You would think all the "I'll kill anything" men would respond. Of course this may be just men dressed as women!

I found a caracal very very easy to do most missions at lvl3.
The maller does have the upperhand with skills of no ammo = cheaper in the long run, its totally up to you.
If u wanna try the rifter as a frigate tho with mwd etc that is also an amazing ship along with the kessy

ok, the best setup for level 3 kill missions is blatantly my crow setup, its simple as hell and kills all the rats nearly as fast yet you have the speed of a frig to pick up the loot and approach to dock etc..
its just 3 standard launchers, 3 1mn abs and 3 damage mods..
just use the best equipment you can and it will go 1900m/s just about, which is easily fast enough... never had a problem yet :)
