Today I saw something that really disappointed me. I realize now that I could have stopped this happening and will learn never to trust anyone in eve again.
On the 2nd of November I entered a system to scout for possible enemies and as expected there was a ōSharkzö camp at an empire gate. I warp to a nearby safespot and realize there are 4 cruisers camping. I wait for a bit, call some friendlies over and wait a bit more. After about 10 minutes I notice a battleship force of 4 or 5 from ELITE corporation. I then see that a sharkz ship has been destroyed and one has been podded. I decide despite being ū10 to sharkz (because of previous encounters, including a loss of my armageddon) to offer my help. I converse with Krissie and he starts by refusing my offer, saying we are allied with the ELITE corporation (Xetic member).
I continue our conversation. He and his friends jump out and about 10 minutes later I destroy an ELITE frigate. Around about this time he has become reasonably friendly with me and I have reason to believe we might be able to trust them in the future to help take out blobus maximus ELITE. I log off and go to sleep.
The next day I log on in my safespot in the same system and after a few minutes I am convoed by Krissie.

They donĘt have a gang because they donĘt want me to find their safespot. This is where I was stupid, should have realized something was up but I gave my fellow eve player the benefit of the doubt.
I continued to camp with them for about half an hour, we try and kill some ELITE insta-jumpers but it wasnĘt going to happen. We continue our friendly tone and talk about stuff that had happened before.
We are told Dominix is approaching the gate from the other side so I pay attention to the game. A frig jumps in just before and we ignore it so we can scramble Dominix. He jumps in, 0 standing so I lock and dampen. Of course his drones attack me and I am not worried. The next 10-15 seconds happened within about 3 frames of eve, one with the Dominix drones attacking me, one with a lost lock on the dominix, and one with everything around me hurting me.
Bang. There goes scorpion. I am running on a laptop with very poor graphical power and a dial up connection from Kazakhstan. I lag. Pod= Out of control, hear squishy sound but I can still see modules for my scorpion on my pod. Wake up in cloning facility.
I wasnĘt particularly annoyed about losing my scorpion as it can be easily replaced due to Insurance. DidnĘt even mind losing a few shock limos siege.
What I donĘt understand about these sorts of people is why they are so pathetic. They go to all the trouble of getting me to trust them and setting up some stupid trap to blow up a single battleship. If that is what this game is about to some people I actually do feel sorry for them. I know I was an idiot for not noticing but I seriously believed from previous experiences that most people in this game (yes a game) were honourable. And the eve mail I received from that dude afterwards just made me laugh.
I donĘt know what I hope to gain from this thread (apart from insults) but I would like to hear anyone elseĘs views on this incident and perhaps warn people of this particular group of players.

I would not trust sharkz if my life depended on it, but then again I wouldn't trust Corp 1 either :). About the big fleets though, yes we bring in a big fleet and people run, then the next corp brings in bigger fleet and we run. That is just how it works. Corp 1 camped this gate you are talking about with about 4 Scorps, 2 Ravens, Armageddon and a few other ships. So we all do the same thing, we just kill differant types of people. Example, we out numberd sharkz last night, so they got Venom to join in and help them. (Very nice tactic may I add) and they popped 1 of us... Then we jumped back in and out for a while and Venom got another one of us. Its all a game though, and very much fun. That is way it works. I do have to commend Pocket on his Apoc though, that this is tanked out like no other i have ever seen.

If they r a noob in a frigate or cruiser then fine.... maybe, if they did attack i wld just kill them easy enough.

Totally suxxor way of behaviour.
Try and look at this from a brighter side. They had to resort to something this lame just to shoot ya down, cus obviously they couldn't do it the "normal" way

Glad to see someone is keeping count :). You are all about the loss's we are all about the fun. That is somthing you guys have yet to understand. If you notice we don't run near as much as most corps would do so as well. And on top of that, about 4 of these kills where when you had help from other corps. But congrats if 21 is the number, seems a little high to me, I thought more twords about 10-12. And trust me when I say we will get you a few more times and I am sure you will get us a few more times.

I was just sitting there looking at my wallet. There is no loss in Eve when you lose a battleship, or atleast very little loss. There is no loss in pvp at all right now except if you lose mad equipment or one of those Covert Opp Frigs with the Cloaking Device. Say I lose 25mil per BS I lose. That is nothing really considering I can mine for 2-3hrs and make this up, Not to mention I have 2 accounts running same time always and one is minig while I am PVP'ing, and I typically go up in isk weekly right now, only time i go down is if I loose 5 bs's in one week which has only happend once, I lost 7 in 11 days, don't ask bad week :). I really think Eve needs to do somthign about this. I can kill 300 Shark BS's and it wouldn't effect them at all, and same thing they can kill 300 of my BS's and it would have very little effect on me. The hardest part of having a bs destroyed for me is going and getting equipment for a new one. And I am sure its the same for many others. Sharkz this is not a message against you or anyone else in game, I just used you as example because you have done so well against us thus far. Does anyone else see this as well?

That is nothing really considering I can mine for 2-3hrs and make this up, Not to mention I have 2 accounts running same time always and one is minig while I am PVP'ing, and I typically go up in isk weekly right now, only time i go down is if I loose 5 bs's in one week which has only happend once, I lost 7 in 11 days, don't ask bad week :). I really think Eve needs to do somthign about this. I can kill 300 Shark BS's and it wouldn't effect them at all, and same thing they can kill 300 of my BS's and it would have very little effect on me. The hardest part of having a bs destroyed for me is going and getting equipment for a new one. And I am sure its the same for many others. Sharkz this is not a message against you or anyone else in game, I just used you as example because you have done so well against us thus far. Does anyone else see this as well?

Well to clarify this. Krissie wanted that Corp 1 dude to help us out. When I saw him close to us I was like WTF !, Krissie told us not to shoot him cause he was gonna help, Again I was like WTF !! no way a Corp 1 dude gets to see how we do things, they killed my buddy Maddi the other day on his apoc (he took down a scorp in the process though) so I dont very much care for corp one and I pushed us to Kill him and I ordered Krissie not to warn him about my evil plan (was on Gudrodur account at the time) and who can resist that bounty, especially when its right there in youre face just waiting to get in youre wallet

Most likely this ASS dude is working for some oil company or maybe he is taking a gap year working for some charity (quite a few americans in almaty especially to do with the church.) My parents infact working for a charity. The reason i know this is because i am a christian and we have all these contacts accross kazakhstan. Infact there is even an english school in almaty dedicated to foreign workers and their children etc.
Quite a nice experience here actually (i=16, inbetween gcse and a level helping out at english centre and with some special needs dudes).
Those other countries i very much doubt. Ukraine i would expect has some players but the others no, maybe 1 or 2 like myself or the ASS dude.
Who would have thought. Cold blooded Corp1 killer/come christian. Hehehe.

I wouldnt trust a corp that i had killed a member of and had at -10 standing that easily. I you were neutral it would be a different story, but you guys were pretty much at war with each other. Camping a gate together was pretty much asking for it imo, with such a bounty would could resist really....
And dont be too hard on Krissie, he is one of the nicest people i know in the game and very thrustworthy. I'm sure he didnt plan this from the start, and that it were his corp mates that decided to kill you. If you wanna be mad at anyone, be mad at DogWithMeat, he is just plain evil

I can¦t see why you say that this was lame. We have been fighting Corp1 few times last weeks and when someone from a enemy corp just gives you his pod that way why not take it. Atleast I think that this was a better way to kill him. Get him to come to us instead of spending some time to find him. And btw this was not like some random noob that we blew up this was our enemy. If people don¦t trust us I can¦t really blame them but for the laugh it was worthwhile

Agreed bobbeh shouldnt have done it in the first place. However you offered him a nap for the purpose of killing a greater threat as has been done many many times before in this game. I know sneaky magic did this with the peoples front of minmatar to fight off pie (cause they sucked big style).
Now the nice thing to have done would be... "Bobbeh nap is over warp away now or we shal shoot."

One thing i have learnt in Eve is DONT TRUST NOBODY absolutely NOBODY at NO TIME, EVER.
You have met a friend and he needs help? Then target his enenies from far, when done, warp out. Any invite to get closer, warp out. :)
