Edited by: Commander Payne on 03/11/2004 01:33:09 Edited by: Commander Payne on 03/11/2004 01:32:10 The Caldari people have been pushed around by the scum of the universe the Galanteans! Too long have we lived thrown out of our own homelands! Too long have we lived in this universe as nothing more than a joke! Too long have the pride of the Caldari been mocked by these bastard Galanteans!
((Commander Payne slams his fist onto the table))
I am wanting to start a new Caldari Corporation which will be Caldari people as it's members to drive back the Galantean scum! I am looking for all Caldari people who are wanting to drive back the Galanteans and are also looking at helping their "Amarrian" friends.
((Spits onto the ground))
The Caldari people WILL Claim their space back and not even hell itself will be game enough to stop me. Let any Galantean try.

Pushed around? How, exactly? Give some examples of how the Gallente have "pushed around" the state, or be called on your illusions.

And what is that planet, except for a sentimental trinket? Hard currency and enterprise is what matters, not the sentimental whimpering of the heroes in children's bedside stories...

You think we are a joke, Payne? I'll let that speak for yourself.

They mock our way of life, we mock theirs. Big deal. Why would you care for their approval or disapproval anyway?
Originally by: Commander Payne The Epidemic from this day will only be accepting applications from Caldari people who are sick and tired of the Galantean way of life
Sick and tired of the Gallentean way of life? How would it be affecting them? Have you guys been trying to emulate it and found that all those *****ly sensations that it gives is unsettling to you?

Yeah... Right... Please, make a cost and effect analysis before talking about a reclaiming. The Gallente can have that planet, fighting them for it would gain us nothing - well, except that a few overly sentimental hot-shot's would weep into their handkerchiefs thinking that they are doing something that matters...
Use your faculties, man. Through the peace treaty we retained all our space, except for the homeworld. But if you think that snatching a planet in the Gallente capital system will be some kind of heroic adventure, then you are woefully mistaken.
Pointless squandering of resources is never heroic, no matter how much posturing you add to it.

((From my previous post i feel that it would be a fun idea to have rival Caldari corp/ Galante type war like the Minmata and the Amarr))
Tatsue Nuko
I would like to point out to you that i have retracted that the Epidemic would not turn into a Caldari Corporation that i will be starting a new one and am merely making it known that applications are being looked at.
If you are too close to these perfect little Gallanteans that indeed is not my problem. Blood is thicker than water always remember that. My family and i have not forgotten what they did and indeed will not stand for what has happened. Be i declared a hero or rogue of the Caldari State i will go ahead with my plans.
((Commander Payne stretches his neck and a loud ***** can be heard))
I know my plans will not please everyone, in fact i am sure i will make quite a few enemies from all races and factions but frankly i dont care as i know there are fellow like minded Caldari out there like myself and it's high time we banded together to prove that we are a force to be reckoned with. Anyone who is seen as cohorting with the enemy be it Caldari or any other race will simply be a target it's just that simple.

You simply don't get it, do you, Payne?
It's not about being "close" with the Gallente or not, it's about service and duty to the State. Squandering resources in a quest that will not strengthen the State is something to be frowned upon, as is your petty racism.
Did you ever consider that the "they" that you speak of is not the same regime as holds power in the Federation today? Or would reading up to keep aux jour with the Federation's history make one be "too close" with them?
As for "perfect Gallenteans" - your words, not mine.

Yes as i said in my previous anouncement this will not please everyone. I didnt expect it to, but in my honest opinion the time for negotiations, useless talk and shallow treaties is over action is needed. I loath the Gallante people i will show them the might of the Caldari State. You speak of resources. They will be no one else's except the Corporation so you wont have to worry about your little previous resources. I frankly do not care if the president in power is different from who we had war with. People say time heals all wounds i say it doesnt. People say let the past be the past. I say learn from the past so that you can make a better future. One that will be ruled by the Caldari's and the might of the State will be restored.

Action is needed to what end? To take a planet who's practical value is only a fraction of the cost required to take it, and which will then be nigh unto impossible to hold?
As for showing them the might of the State, now there's some delusions of grandeur right there. I'm sure the Board will be happy to tag along with your plans - It's not like the Corporations are interested in commiting to ventures that are financially viable or something like that...
And yes, I speak of resources. Do you have the resources to take and hold Caldari Prime, against the assembled strength of the Federation Navy? No? Didn't think so. Thus you need the assistance of the State, which you won't get, since what you are talking about is a monumental expenditure on a venture that has almost zero return on investment, and I doubt even the entire State - both common navy and Corporate police forces - would have the strength to achieve it, thanks to recent years constant cuts in military spending.
Also, note that I spoke of regime, not president, with regard to the Federation at the time of the war. The atrocities were not commited by the then President, the whole regime had been overturned by fascistoid radicals like yourself.
Finally, this quote here of yours I find to be a source of great mirth:
Originally by: Commander Payne People say let the past be the past. I say learn from the past so that you can make a better future. One that will be ruled by the Caldari's and the might of the State will be restored.
...by "better future", do you mean one where we expend all our strength in a futile quest founded only in nostalgia, devoid of any and all resemblance of economic viability? Why not just give the Guristas Lonetrek right away, and let TPS claim half of the Forge after it has been weakened in your silly crusade?
Superb future there, well thought out, Payne.

((Commander Payne shakes his head in disapproval and lets out a loud sigh))
It is a shame that we do not see eye to eye on this topic, but my mind is set and my destiny is clear, in fact i have already have started the clensing process.
You see Gallanteans who have dared to drift into Caldari space have been made short work of.
((Throws a handful of Scout, Sargeant dogtags))
The Civire are people of action i do not expect you a Dietis to understand. I am not talking about gathering a fleet and waltzing into Gallante space and making them hand over our old planet. After all you have to learn to walk before you can run.
I believe in taking small steps to achieve a target. Frankly my dear Tatsue what you say has some merit and as a fellow Caldari officer i have great respect for you. But i do not think you full understand the situation. I mean you can simply take the route of sculking away and hiding under some rock and thinking everything is long stem roes and chocolate, but the fact of the reality is my friend, Caldari are a race of proud people and i will not have us treated as some galatic joke.
Better future is where we are not under estimated. We are looked upon as a true Galactic Power.

As an individual with a mind to the practicals I can see quite well how your plans, thoughts, and ideas are simply plain wrong. Your words show that a certain amount of racism has crept into your head, and believe me when I say that racism is no fundament for a functional enterprise, be it one of business or war.
And I think you are the one that does not hold a full understanding of the "situation". You will note how you are the only one talking about the Caldari as a "galactic joke". I have yet to see someone else do that - how ironic that the first one would not be Amarr, Minmatar or Gallente, it's a Caldari!
The Gallente are no threat to us, they can't even maintain a stable government - not that they ever could.
As for "peoples of action", I believe that if you discard your racial thinking you will find that such affinities are not traits of race or bloodline. Hey, perhaps you would even notice the "action" of those other Deteis that I fight alongside? And perhaps you would even be able to see that the wish to do one's duty to one's Corporation and State is not limited to those of Caldari heritage - we have both Gallente and Minmatar flying their combat vessels under our banner.
While I appreciate to see the loyalty and devotion you feel towards your people and State, I cannot approve of the direction you wish to pursue.

Regardless of what you say my decision is final and the wheels are in motion. If you only knew what your so called "peace loving" Gallanteans have done to myself and my family.
Let me just say it would merely make your stomach churn. I do not have any quarms with you. But i will make this very clear that if anyone decides to interfere with the new up coming corporation will feel it's wraith.
My job is the strengthen the Caldari and help all of the corps members in furthering their war skills so we are ready against the Gallantean threat.

Thing is, he's trying to make his personal revenge look like some big noble quest all Caldari should undertake. Which it isn't.
It's not a viable enterprise, and thus it should be cautioned against.

We have only heard one caldarian thoughts so far... and you wouldnt know the meaning of honor anyway so please stay out of it. I personally think that the idea of caldarian standing up for themselves are worthy of the respect and the bond they share with the Amarr empire. I saw no minmatars complain over the gallente union when they proclaimed themselves.
