Here's an odd question... Ok, only alliances can hold space, correct? Corps in alliances can anchor flags to claim space, anchor hubs to upgrade, yaddah yaddah...
Can corporations NOT in alliances anchor STOPs and attempt to remove sov from a holding alliance? It seems rather odd to have to provide defense against raiding corporations which have NO possibility of claiming the system.
Second question: in order to disrupt sov, do all the STOPs need to be anchored by the same alliance/corp, or can any conglomeration of STOPs by various alliances which add up to 51% count? ------------------------ Peace through superior firepower: a guiding principle for uncertain times. |

corps can claim sov for alliances, alliances maybe can allocate what corps can claim sov in a system. corps not in an alliance cant get sov Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

Right. But does that prevent corps WITHOUT an alliance from anchoring STOPs which disrupt sov claims? That was the question. ------------------------ Peace through superior firepower: a guiding principle for uncertain times. |

This is not correct.
Corporations, which are not in an alliance, can anchor and online STOP's.
I have tested this myself yesterday.

Ok, I havent had the opportunity to investigate this myself, thank you. Again, it sems odd that CCP would allow corps to disrupt an alliance's sov, even though they cant claim sov themselves. Also: no such thing as "Gos" unless they messed with nomenclature recently...

This is the last time I ask a rhetorical question on the internet and expect people to not be dumb.
Any answer to the second question though? Is it just the fact that the STOPs are anchored that they disrupt sov, or do they need to be anchored all by the same alliance? ------------------------ Peace through superior firepower: a guiding principle for uncertain times. |
