i would like too know if anyone else lost ships this afternoon.at around 1605 eve time...due too client basically failing.
I lost my ship ....but all i get is the " our logs show nothing " rubbish..
my point being..
My ship loss mail came in at 1608...my last outgong damage on my log was at 16:01.29.... for 5 of these minutes i wasn't even online and able too log back in...
So come on GM's play the ball.... and quit saying it's not CCP's fault
btw i know of at least 2 other players who lost ships.... i wonder if they got their's back yet..
how can you say it's not you're problem to people who run mission's due to server issues when with the other head...you can return lord knows how many outposts to an alliance becasue they got done over...the situation sucks

Yes I had it for about an hour. Numerous other people in my corp had the problem too, at exactly the time you said.

For future reference you should join CVA. I hear CCP has a "Easy" button to restore them from last night's backups.

Was midwarp when the server went bananas, had to relog but coulden't get back in for about 10min
Came back to a pod, and a annoyingly happy crusader and manticore who had relived me of my ship during the server-fiddlery
Much rage was had, but congratulations on the excellent timing to said pilots :D |

Yup, had this as well. Modules failing to respond, tried to logout / back in but got stuck at "authenticating" for a few minutes before I killed it and tried again.
When I got back in my chat channels did not show up and when they did I was not shown in the member lists, fun was had by talking in various channels when people could not see me. I did not show up in peoples address books either.
Similar things were reported in my alliance channel and in various public channels. People I know who lost ships to this have had the "logs show nothing" response though.

Hmm... I got my 18b isk Bhaalhgorn refunded in entirety.
CCP should totally refund any claims. Maybe you wordeed the petition wrong. You seem like a person that might be a bit rude and demanding.

Start a fresh petition, include nice language and don't be too demanding but make sure you include all the information. Also inform them that there is a considerable amount of people who have suffered from the same error.

It's not so much an error just a pain in the butt. I really don't care if Iceland doesn't observe DST. Neither does Saskatchewan.

While I like to be nice to a point to the service providers I do business with because I like to be nice, since when was the >customer< required to kiss the service provider's butt to get the >service< they're paying for?
I haven't, to date, had any issue that required I interact with CCP support. But I can say that from observing the treatment of some posters on the forum by CCP moderators that the overall impression I'm left with is we, the customer, should be so lucky to be in their presence. God help me if their support personnel behave in the same manner.
