As title says, how tough is the sleeper spawn in a C5 WH at a Grav site? Is it soloable in a BC? Do you face BS sleeper, and do they scram you? Would you say it's on difficulty of a C2, or C3 anomaly wave?
Thanks

Wspace grav site spawns are amongst the easiest to take care of. You might get 4 or 5 non-scramming basic frigates (awakened patroller / watchmen), or perhaps 2 frigs and a cruiser at the common frontier and unexceptional frontier deposits.
The LADAR site spawns are incrementally a bit more difficult in class 5/6, but again it depends on the LADAR. If I remember right:
Barren Perimeter reservoir = 5 basic frigates (15 minutes after warpin) Ordinary Perimeter reservoir = 5 sirius on warpin Token Perimeter reservoir = 2 basic cruisers Bountiful Perimeter reservoir = 2 intermediate cruisers and 3 intermediate frigates Vast Perimeter reservoir = 4 intermediate cruisers (2 emergent upholders and 2 emergent defenders) Instrumental = 1 BS + cruisers Vital reservoir = 2 BS

So would you say it's possible to clear a C5 Grav site in a Drake? Now I don't know much about the names tbh, but I would assume in C5 you encounter some of the harder sites, would it be possible for a Drake to do the harder sites? Oh and btw, it's only Grav sites.

Not sure about the others, but Vital spawns 2 x Advanced BS + 2 x Web/scram frigates, while Instrumental spawns 2 x really nasty Advanced web/scram BS. Two of us went into an Instrumental with a Legion + dual rep plated Abaddon forgetting that it had a different spawn, and only the Legion survived.

The two Grav's too be ware of are the Rarified Core Deposit and the Exceptional Core Deposit. The rarified spawns 1 BS and 2 cruisers and the exceptional 1 BS. With bad ass skills you could probably do the rarified solo in a lol tnaked Drake, but it would be touch and go. Just start killing the cruisers first. the exceptional you could solo in a BC but I wouldnt do it coz it would take too long. The sleeper BS have a mad tank. All the other gravi's are easy.

Keep in mind EVERY ship in a class 5 or 6 can web and scram, and at an extreme range. Including the BS. Also some frigates are energy neutralizers in a class 5.

As some said, I found out that the site itself is extremely affected by the sleeper spawn, and not so much the actual class of your WH. I did a couple perimeter and frontier grav sites, and they were a joke, barely C1 anomaly difficulty. Still have yet to try a core grav site.

Edited by: Kanatta Jing on 08/11/2009 01:50:54 In general, most Spawns in anything less then the very best Ladar sites (up to vast) can be solo'd in a Harby.
I assume it's the same for Grav sites.
But your using a Drake. And sleepers are usually a bit heavy on the EM and it can take forever for missles to kill sleeper firgates.
