Edited by: Fongg on 05/11/2009 23:27:05 Could someone explain to me how you hire people to help you re-fuel POS, etc.?
Because if you give someone access, can't they just steal whatever you have stored in your POS?
And what is a reasonable salary to pay someone to do this? Is there an ideal ISK per day?
thanks.

Edited by: Joe SMASH on 06/11/2009 00:02:31 Edited by: Joe SMASH on 06/11/2009 00:01:53 I hire people all the time to pull fuel duty. However, I never give them direct access to the POS. I have them put the fuel in an NC station in same system as POS (or closest system with station). I never deal with them directly... Here are the steps I use:
1. Buy fuel/ice/etc on market. You just made a bunch of people compete for your service!* 2. Create courier contract to move fuel/ice/etc from purchase station to closest station to your POS. 3. Move fuel yourself the last bit to your POS. (Hardest part imo)
*If you are willing to pay someone to supply you with fuel, it would be really stupid of the person you pay to accept less than market price for his time and effort. So you are most likely better off buying the fuel or mining it yourself.
Myself, I never give anyone outside of the corp access to the POS. Period. However, I am paranoid.
EDIT: ::sigh:: after I took the time to type all of this out... -----------------------------------

I just want to put this out there... It is really frustrating when people figure out what they originally posted and then proceed to delete the post.
What makes you so special that you feel you should not share the information? Others might have found this post helpful, but you had to douche it up by deleting the question. Now there is just half the picture for newer players to learn from.
::sigh:: And I just got mad on the internet. I fail for the day. -----------------------------------

I agree. It's the primary reason why people will often quote the OP in their answer - which is wasteful (and totally unnecessary if the OP could just leave their post alone).
Estel - Nice job with the quote from Chribba's site. It seems you can run, but you can't hide. Once it's on the internet, it stays on the internet. ______________________ Agony Unleashed is proud to support TeaDaze for CSM |
