Does anyone have any ideas or tips on why EVE always crashes if I use the ALT+TAB to swicth to another application? This happens 100% of the time if I happen to be docked but is random if in space. Launching another application will definately crash EVE. I have a very high PC spec of AMD 64 3200, ATI x800, 1GB of DDR and high perforance SATA HD's.

You will find this only happens in full screen mode, if you run windowed it won't happen.
No idea why it does it, maybe some of the geeks .... er ... i mean boffins reading this can tell ya?

i also have a problem with alt-tabbing. eve just doesnt come back up when i try to maximize it when i alt-tab it. poo....

Yup same problem for most people, myself included. Anyway, my findings. If I'm in space, I can alt-tab at will, it always works, however, if I'm docked and do it I cannot restore the window. But once in a blue moon it will, maybe 1 in 100 tries.

EVE seems to have problems with resetting the d3d device for ATI cards. Maybe it's fixed in Shiva
