in a 1vs1 RAVEN
but when i see an enemy Scorp iam more frightend. Why? Well Scorps dont fly alone, therefore it will jam and scramble you and wait for his reinforcements to kill you.
Because about the dmg output of a Scorp every decent BS pilot can only laugh

in a Dom/geddon - Raven is scary
Blasterthron is always scary
in a Scorpion everything is scary to some degree cause you know you its hard to win 1 on 1
in a tempest or phoon blasterthrons or uber tanks are a tad scary
in a Raven just about any BS with a launcher for rockets w/ defenders is scary
in a blasterthron anything that can kill your cap is scary
in a apoc ravens are a tad scary if you don't have rocket w/ defenders

Typhoon! they are evil evil ships, and so verisatle you dont know whats gonna happen, Scorps will jam, Ravens Torp spam and amarr gonna tank and sit there tanking while killing your shields :( Typhoon though, you gotta be prepered for anything

Dominix and the phoon scare me, u can newer guess what they are fitted with. raven, scorp, apoc, arma, megat and temp, usly have a standar fitting. But when u meat a tankd Phoon with 4 nosfus/ennutraliser + sigelunchers and drones. Then there isnt much u can do. I just thank god that my friend was piloting it hehe

depends the fitting you have on your ship.
raven vs appocalypse with 3 T2 smartbombs.... the raven's torpidos/cruise missiles are useless
jamming scorpion vs any bs with multiple T2 backup arays... scorpion is useless
blasterthorn vs sharpshooting bs... blasterthorn is useless
My armor tanked appoc can deal with any lvl2 bs x2, any range any ammo, my armor never gone below 70% and my cap was 45% steady, but I cannot make a lot of damage....
so IMHO this comparison is useless, every damned bs has advantages and disadvantages, but the history so far says "there is always a damn scorpion in a battle, that spoils the fun..."

Gankageddon- think twice about messing with one of those
They can start having into structure before you know whats going on
Apocalypse - can be dangerous, but mostly good tanking
Scorps and ravens. You can see the missiles incoming so you have time (sometimes) before they arrive to decide to stay or go.
Megathron - blaster setups are scary
Dominex - never fought one, but anyone who flys one in battle is either good or crazy, both not so good
Tempest - Ho hum with the bad state of projectiles
Typhoon - would worry me more than a tempest

I fly a 'phoon. Dont worry bout much, cept maybe a Raven, and it really depends if they have range on me. Raven pilots are notorious for running once you break their shield tank.

I rekon the dominix ship is the hardest to beat in 1 v 1 confrontations.. I have fought a few and every time i get my cap drained from me and can't seem to kill there armor. excellent ship!! It has like the capacity to hold over 30 heavy drones.. wow..
It doesn't get alot of credit for pvp but i rekon its definately one of the best..

number ones are apoc and geddons with megapulses... insane damage, and with the apoc insane tanking.
This screenshot will show u a apoc hitting at very very utterly stupid impossible close range... i was the pilot of the apoc...
hehe 8 guns, with so little powergrid, such good tracking, such a high dmg mod is just crazy.

The only ship that scares me 1 v 1 is the Battleship the rogue Jove Admiral flew (who dropped the 1st Miner II BPO in Stain, Fall 2003) That thing had insane tanking ability.
Maybe I was just born fearing Joves, or maybe I'm just "Sissy"...
An ancillary point... If CCP could put Jove Battleships in the game a year ago and let a Dev fly them around, what else are they holding out on?
