I have been playing planetarion a couple of years ago and just visited the forums since ages.
A topic said the old [fury] / [1up] guys partially left for Eve.
As i have been playin for those lot i was wondering if anyone know if they are still around and who they are :)?

hmm wasnt planetarion back in the 90's ? I was a member of bluetuba, vts, legion and concordium (? not quite sure of the name anymore..)

Used to play pa from r2 - r12 or something like that.. You were fury? I was stuck in one of their flagshipgals..

I used to play R2 - R7 i believe. Can't remember any of the alliances/teams i was in though. Never one of the big ones.
Any of you used IRC? Then you might know me.. the name was Punt in those days.
Did the game itself change much after? Can't even remember the details, but solar system farming was something possible in the end i when was playing, and there were 4 races?

Was in a fury galaxy for a while - back about r5-6. great game but getting up at some godforsaken hour to launch fleets at the optimum moment was a pain I have no wish to repeat.
nor do I ever want to wake up again, dreading logging on to see a screenful of red inbounds with only 20mins to beg for defense before going to work.

Played that for years :-) Round 4-9.5, then 12-14 I believe it was. Most addictive game (and largest group of addicts together) ever. I remember round 12 I was in the winning galaxy, we had eachothers cell phone numbers and often got called in the middle of the night that there was incoming, oh the joy of having 5 hours a sleept at night on average for over a month and waking up to alarm clock to launch fleets at optimal times, then spending the rest of the night awake trying to arange defense for your entire alliance who was under massive attack
Been in LCH, NewDawn, Absolute, TFD, DLR (battlegroup between 1up, Wolfpack and Newdawn I believe at the time)and had a blast  Just NEVER going to do that again, took FAR to much time and dedication.

Woot PA, played a few speedrounds of the latest incarnation last year for old times sake.
Played R2-R4, member of SpaceHamsters (and I really disliked Legion, kept getting pounded by them in R2 :P)
