Well, I reinstalled EVE and reinstalled the drivers. Still Aint workin. About to just put back in the old card just so I can play.

Im using the newest drivers with a geforce 4 and no problems except transparent minmatar stations (only masked textures are shown) :) Try downloading and installing them. The drivers coming on the disk with the card are probably old crappy ones

I recently got a GF FX5700LE, runnning 6176 driver and DirectX 9.0c on win98 with no problems. Guess I'm strange
... you will see more and more marketing which in turn will bring you more players to torture. |

Ok, I reinstalled everything. Yes, EVERYTHING. I decided to test using DXdiag. I get errors when tryin to test Direct3d. So for some reason D3D isn't workin properly and that's why I can't run EVE. And I don't understand why.

Got a question. Is any1 that has the Geforce FX 5700LE using the 53.04 drivers? It seems that this is the highest that I can use.

Did you have directx 9.0c installed during this process? If not, I suggest you install that, then try updating your drivers. BTW I have a 5700Ultra, which even though is a lot better then the LE, is still basically the same thing.

what I ended up figuring out is that the drivers above 53.04 wont work on my motherboard and the 53.04 doesn't really work well with the geforce 2. I just gonna have to save up and get parts for a new system to use the new card. 2 days wasted just to find this out.
