For those of you that have never heard of us, you will care very little.
For those that have, this is me saying its been great fun, but due to real life taking over ( wedding plans etc ) for me and some of our FC's, we've looked at the options and feel the best thing for us to do is merge into our friends Outbreak.
For the last few months, we've been working closely with Outbreak in Syndicate and before that in Geminate as Krautbreak. Having very similar policies and flying style, as well as hunger we got on very well and worked well together. Rather than risk the corp becoming stale, inactive etc we've taken a decision to merge on a high. Most corps kind of fizzle out over time, we decided this wouldn't really be fair on our members or our friends. And besides, I can't think of many better corporations to merge into.
We've always been a no fuss, no hassle... just get on and kill corp. We've had an efficiency of around 85% for pretty much our entire existance. We've become specialised at hit and runs in 0.0, dodging the blobs, employing sniper hacs, bombers, BO's etc and all round having some people forget to have.... FUN.
Its been a blast.

Well a bit of a surprise, I know how you value UK1 mate. Good flying with you in the past, but its not like your leaving :) But yeah Outbreak cant complain..good luck!

GL to all of you forced to switch attention to RL.
The merger with 0utbreak is the obvious choice, and kudos for that decision.

UK1 was fun, just what I needed when I joined, NO POS's, low blues, lots of shooting.
Looking forward to flying in Outbreak rather than alongside them.

What can I say guys, The last time we flew with you was in Myriad, early 2007, we have kept in touch over the years since then watching you guys develop and grow. You have all done well and it is with some regret we hear you are calling it a day. Our only consolation is the fact you will be able to continue to fly together with your friends in outbreak. Congrats Diehard, gonna be an honest man at last.

I think I speak for many when I say , I take it they turned your app down .
Outbreak is and will always be Outbreak. Good call UK1. Dam fine pilots in outbreak , and I'm sure OB will only get better and stronger with the merger.
