What I am trying to say is that all of those silly allusions to real life warfare that people like to use in EVE Online as gimmicks to rally support or whatever are pretty damned stupid. Maybe it's just me and I'm biased considering that I come from a family where service in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps goes back four generations, but it just doesn't sit right with me. If you want to talk to a real-life military person, then how about you hop on Mumble with me and I can tell you some stories; or, I can put you in contact with any of about fifty people that I served with over the years and they'll give you the straight dope same as me. If you want to talk about how something is somehow comparable to the struggles that men in uniform faced while under fire in World War II then I invite you to talk with my grandfather or my great-uncle; or, if you don't want to talk to some random goon's family members how about you go down to your local American Legion, VFW, or VA Regional Center if you're in the United StatesGÇöor whatever veterans' organisations exist within whatever country you're in, I guess. Please note that I don't mean that last little clause of a sentence to be offensive, I am just genuinely ignorant of stuff. In any event, I find your comparison of an online video game which you play from the comfort of your computer chair and then post SERIOUS BIG DEAL posts about on a terrible forum (that doesn't even have emoticons for :3: or :shobon:) not to be offensive at all but just to demonstrate how incredibly full of yourself you are and how much you have allowed a terrible video game to become a major focus of your life. Roughly 25000 pilots has been trying to invade us, and utterly failed. Choices we're made, and the CF coalitions main push into 1DH has been halted to a dead stop. They now know how it is to run into a brickwall at full speed. It hurts.

In August, 271 billion worth of insurance value ships was killed.
In September, so far, 22 billion worth of insurance value ships was killed. Thats 11 billion per day, and day 2 has barely started.

The chainspawning rate is ridicilous. Our main problem is having enough ammo. The weekend is proving to be one of the most bloody weekends in a long, long time, fleetwise. We're still awaiting the capital bash that has not yet happened, but will.
