CCP can't u make it so that there will be a bounes thing/implant that only ppl with advanced learning skill 5 can use. I'm not saying as in normal implants but like and extra skill. Due to thew fact that It will take 4 years to make any diffreence could u add something that might make it actully worth it. I'm thinking about all thoses ppl trining up to 5 (including me). This would be great if it happened. Doenst have to be now but within 4 years anyway lol.

If you train a skill to lvl 5 knowing for a fact that it will only pay off in the extreme long term, you have no reason to demand some goodies.
What if I train electronics upgrades, and EW up to lvl 5? Should CCP then go making some uber EW mod that only I can use?

If you train a skill to lvl 5 knowing for a fact that it will only pay off in the extreme long term, you have no reason to demand some goodies.

Yes but CCP made the skills for elite frigs, the players didn't train up a bunch of skills and then go "hey CCP I need something to justify me wasting time on these skills". Spending time training skills to lvl 5 that have little or no pay off is the fault of the player (And training EW past lvl 1 is generally regarded as a bad thing to do).

The payoff is the extra attribute point. If you dont feel like thats enough, dont train the skill to lvl 5.
I dont see how this is in any way requiring a change of any kind.

only thing i'd suggest is, that maybe CCP will some day release elite learning skills, that you need lvl 5 advanced skills to learn. Thatd make it more worthwhile, right? :)

in the future there will probibly be advanced elite implants but they don't require learning skills to equip they require science skills.

it all depends on what you want from the game. ive been playing for a year and half now and i still love it and can see myself playing it for another year and half at least.
i wont train the advanced skills to 5 tho, not atm as more important things are open to me but I think the bonus from training it is perfectly reasonable as it is. its a choice thing, do you want to invest in the payoff? if so then train it, do you think it is too much? then dont.
we are always looking out for speeding up our learning process, its a natural part of the game. but things take time and we just have to be patient
