I went into a games shop in the uk today and saw plenty of Eve-Online boxes for ú9.99 each. I was tempted to buy another account but thought I'd buy online as I figured it must be cheaper.
Wrong!
It works out at almost ú14 for a new account on this site. Why is that?
I already have 2 accounts, but would like to have another to start when Exodus is launched. Will you be having any special offers soon?

Don't know the answer to your other questions, but for you it sounds simple.
Buy one of the ú9.99 boxes from Game, and activate it on November 17th, thus saving yourself a fiver.

I may have to take issue with a 'Game' store manager, oh hang on... we have one in the Corp 
Question stands though, it should be cheaper to buy here.

Game were selling them for a fiver, thinking they had dead stock, but people started buying them, so they hiked the price up to ú9.99. Still an okay deal if you ask me.
And I agree, it should be cheaper to buy online, but until CCP realise that $1 <> ú1 <> €1 we're stuck with it I think.

I bought my boxed Eve for $69.99 Canadian (in May 03). Don't really regret it, love the game.
