Father Yarrr Garoun Investment Bank	Posted - 2009.11.13 00:42:00 - [1] Ok this story starts in a dedspace plex in high sec. I jumped thru the gate to find 3 toons running around killing stuff. So I think to myself, they look like tasty treats. I proceed to grab an unlooted wreck and turn red to all 3. The 3 toons notice and begin motoring at me. I am even more happy when they start targeting me. Well as it turns out they do not aggress and instead recruit me to their corp (LMAO). So I accept and the next next day I anchor a can in space where they are HQed so as not to have to dock to reload and to keep from getting booted. then my reign of terror began. i proceeded to kill 12 of their ships and 6 pods in the first day of my rampage after convincing several that the corp mails they were reading regarding my treachery was just an angry corpmate that I killed over some smacktalk. There were no major kills and the loot from the wrecks was minimal, but i dare say it was the funnest day i have had in eve thus far. The unfortunate corp that recruited a pilot while he was red was called Uncensored Pownagraphy. you can find the hilarity that ensued at this link Cause they know your a pirate when they hear you say YARRR You die for your corp. I'll be the one killing you for mine.

I've done some pretty stupid things here myself in the month since I joined(30 days tomorow), but have had the opportunity to learn from them instead of not being able to experience them at all. The result is that I am almost ready for lowsec already; and, I get a good laugh at stories like the OP. The other three MMOs I've tried were unrealistically "fair". EVE is a world broken from centuries of war that is starting to settle down and rebuild. Others, like WoW, portray themselves as a free-for-all, dynamic, scalable and truly interactive fight game. But, you can't go here or there and get stomped or start a fight with someone you stand no chance against. In EVE, I went to Low Sec to test my fitting and got podded in 9 seconds flat. In WoW, I wasn't allowed to go to fight some dude cause he had some godlike powers and I had a sword or something(sorry for the haziness, it's been over a year). I like EVE. You're allowed to be dumb here; which, ironically can make you a better, smarter player.
