Like with one of those Remote Armor repairers.
Can you remote anything your drones?

Yep, remote repping shield, armour and hull all work fine on drones.
This will avoid the charge to repair them in station.

It's nice because you can remote repair your drones, even though your remote repair drones can't rep yourself.

/me facepalms for playing the game for three years and not ever thinking of this. My poor little drones, such needless sufffering over the years...
/me then has flashbacks to when our 10-day old noob asked in corp chat if there was a shortcut to UNtarget stuff like there was to target things. My response being "nope, theres no....wait, theres a targeting shortcut!?"

Shield repping drones is kinda pointless most of the time....you just recall them to get the aggro off and they will recharge naturally quite quickly.
Armor repairing them can be quite useful though, if you let them get damaged into armor.

Seems like you could do with reading the daily tips on the character selection screen haha

I always carry small remote armor and hull repairers in the event I'm stupid enough to not recall my drones soon enough.
After the mission, refit your ship with the reppers, undock and launch drones and direct them to orbit. Right click each drone (in the drone window) and it will give you an option to target the drone. Repair each one as needed.
Sometime the drone damage is minimal, just click the "Repair Shop" in the station overview, and then click the ship with your drones inside. You will get a list of everything your ship has fitted, and all the drones. Anything that needs repairing will have a percentage of damage and repair cost.

This is even easier in a drone ship just cary a group of light armour repping drones, they won't do structure but if you only have armour damage they do just fine.
