There have been other threads started about the lack of updated content in the Community Created Videos section of this site. This thread is not about that; it is a personal plea from myself here in public since no one at CCP seems to ever read, reply or act on emails sent in on the subject.
For the last several weeks, I have sent at least one email a week to this address:

In it I have asked and, more recently, begged for CCP to remove the link to my Anarchy in Providence video. The reasons for this are primarily that it was a first effort that bears no resemblance to my corp's activities over the last several months. Also, it is a far cry from my later efforts. If CCP wants to make something I've created available for public download, why not post my Everlasting Vendetta Vids or the Merchant Marine Contract? Why put up my oldest and weakest effort?
I know CCP is busy with Shiva/Exodous/whatever they are calling it this week, but this is a request I've had in going back several Castor patches and have yet to even recieve a reply. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what vids are posted in that section, and I know of a few that have been done without even the author knowing about it.

Have a solicitor write them in a threatning way about intellectual copyright etc. You'll probably get a letter back from their solicitor, but, letters like that mostly cause an intrest and are read so they ought to react.

I'm happy they provide the service, I'd just like some say in what they provide if it's authored by me is all.

Exactly. That is why having solicitor write them about intellectual copyright ought to make then respond. See, for some odd reason, a lot of people and companies are slow when it comes to doing someting when you write them in a nice and friendly way. When you write them in a more unfriendly way informing them that you are gopnna sue their ass into oblivion if they don't comply is usually provokes a response.
You would think nice and friendly ough to do it, but, it often don't.

Ya. the letter back will say that CCP owns everythign and you can bugger off and they can cancel your account and corp at will. So it might not be the best idea.

Here's an alternate solution: Change the filename of your video on your site, and change the links on your site to point to the new file. If CCP re-links to the new file, change the settings to prevent remote linking. (I don't know how to do this, but many free web space providers have this setting, so there is probably a way to do it for your files.)
This only works if, as I understand it, CCP is posting a link to a video that you host. If they have the file on their servers, you have no recourse because they own all in-game content, including scenes captured from the game.
