If your Amarr Character is well off in mining, for Missions I would look towards HZO Refinery or Carthum Conglomerate. Both should help with any reprocessing of ore when you get your standings up with them.

Go to the Recruitment Forum --> look for a Missioning/ PvP corp --> join up --> do as told --> offer constructive input --> reap rewards --> enjoy.
FoolProof Method.
------------------------- I ran away because I didn't know how much firepower it would take for them to destroy the ship and pod me, but I knew exactly how much they were going to use. |

While you're thinking about it, train up your gunnery skills.

I would highly suggest working on your pulse/beam laser skills as well as your drone skills. If you're looking at Amarr cruisers, you might be interested in is the arbitrator or omen.

Charra/Aghesi. Ministry of Assessment. All levels of agents up to a mediocre 4, mix of branches including a storyline. Close to Amarr for sales.

I believe he was referring to the skill group Gunnery, not just the skill. Simply having the gunnery skill to lvl 4 isn't going to help you much. There are many more skills that should learn to improve your gunnery. Not all of them need to be trained to lvl 4 or even 3 right away, but at least lvl 2 will already give you a lot more POW than you could do now.
Actually finding agents to do missions isn't very hard. Open up your map and select the option to show "agents available to me", then look around the nearest systems and look up each agent to see what kind of missions they offer, and for which corporation.
That'll get you pewpew-ing right away, but if you want to benefit the most from missions in the long-run, start looking around at lvl 4 agents from different corporations to see what you will eventually have on offer for you. Of course you can always grind up standings for a different corp later on, but why not do it right away?
You can use eve-agent website to do it, or you can do in-game just as easily. Open up your character sheet, go to standings and select a faction (amaar, caldari, minmatar, gallente. Any faction is good enough, but some will argue that Caldari and Amarr have the best agents. Caldari mission space is usually very crowded) and open the member corporations tab. Then look up each one and see what they have to offer for lvl 4 missions. You can obviously skip the industrial corps. Refer to this page to see which missions are "kill" missions, because these are the ones that yield the greatest rewards.
Once you have a handful of corporations to choose from, evaluate their LP stores. Some will offer a better LP/isk ratio than others. You'll have to do that the hard way. Find one of their stations, open up the LP store and do some basic maths. Then, balance this information against the quality of lvl 4 agents. This research shows how much the LP can take up of the total earnings from missions, depending on what kind of LP/isk ratio you can find, of course. Don't forget to take into account the security status of the system they are in. The lower, the better. It's about 5QL for every 0.1 sec. The higher the effective quality (cumultive of your relation with the agent, your skills, and their quality and their security status location) the better will be the rewards.
Once you have finally decided on your long term corporation, open up the agents tab and and look for the highest level available to you. You might have to start off with lvl 1s. Don't worry about quality just yet, because you want to grind up to at least lvl3s as quickly as possible. Once there start worrying about quality. You'll spend some time on lvl 3s, because it will take a while to learn the skills needed to properly fly a battleship for lvl 4s. Train your social skills to increase your standings gain.
Be sure to look up each mission you do on this site, so you can fit the right tank and damage.
For level 2s use cruisers. Vexor and Arbitrator are good, but they use drones. Caracal is also very good. Many other cruisers will do just as well. Use this opportunity to experiment and see what kind of ships and weapons you like to use. For lvl 3s use battlecruisers. Tier-2 are usually better, but tier-1 have been doing well enough before Tier-2 came about and can still do just as well.
Once you are well on your way, consider getting the connections skills. They will increase your LP gain and are very expensive, however they will pay off in the long run.
Don't forget to train salvaging and tractor beams. Equip a destroyer for salvaging and looting after missions. Salvage only lvl 3s and up, rest are not worth it.
