I would like to ask what the final fleet bonuses are for a Vulture (Caldari Fleet Command Ship) with the following setup:
Vulture Highs: Siege Warfare Link - Shield Harmonizing = Boosts all shield resistances for the gang's ships -2% per level Siege Warfare Link - Shield Efficiency = Reduces the capacitor need of the gang's shield boosters and shield transporters -2% per level Siege Warfare Link - Active Shielding = Increases the speed of he gang's shield boosters and decreases the duration of shield transporters -2% per level
I'm not forgetting the Siege Warfare Mindlink, I've excluded it intentionally.
Relevant skills: Leadership V = 2% bonus to fleet members' targeting speed per skill level = +10% targeting speed Armored Warfare V = Grants a 2% bonus to fleet members' armor hit points per skill level = +10% Armor Information Warfare V = Grants a 2% bonus to fleet members' targeting range per skill level = +10% targeting range Siege Warfare V = Grants a 2% bonus to fleet members' shield capacity per skill level = +10% shield capacity Skirmish Warfare V = Grants a 2% bonus to fleet members' agility per skill level = +10% agility Siege Warfare Specialist V = Multiplies the effectiveness of Siege Warfare Link modules by 100% per skill level after level 2 is trained = +400% to Link modules Warfare Link Specialist V = Boosts effectiveness of all Link modules by 10% per level = +50% to Link modules Command Ships V = 3% to effectiveness of Siege Warfare Links per level = +15% to Link modules
Therefore: +10% targeting speed +10% Armor +10% targeting range +10% shield capacity +10% agility 10% shield resists * (4 + .5 + .15) = +46% Shield Resists 10% Shield boost *(4 + .5 + .15) = +46% Shield Boost 10% Boost Duration *(4 + .5 + .15) = -46% Shield Boost Cycle duration
Does this look accurate? Am I figuring the Link Module bonuses correctly?
Thank you for your time and attention. _________________________ . . . but that's just me. |

10 * 1.4 * 1.5 * 1.15
15 * 1.4 * 1.5 * 1.15 with mindlink
... doing this from memory here but its not 46% . |

The skills suggest it's 10 * 4 (not 1.4) * 1.5 * 1.15 which is 69% (heh) or 10 * (4 + .5 + .15) = 46%. I'm wondering if anyone KNOWS? _________________________ . . . but that's just me. |

well, i'd just have to log in and check any of my command ships for an exact number (all lvl5 in leadership)
... or check evemon
25,88%

I've been looking at Evemon and although it's completely brilliant alas it doesn't have the final calculations that I'm looking for and I'd really like to know how the numbers are applied. I've calculated both 46% and 69% by applying the numbers in different ways and now you've implied that in-game the number looks like 25.88%.
Forgive me for asking, but how was that number arrived at exactly and to what does it apply? I'm guessing you've got Command Ships to V, but I'd like to read it explicitly. Thank you for your help by the way.

Confirming maxed skills gives 25.875% when checked in game, Thats with the Mindlink, from memory its 17.5% without.
Tengu gives 28.105% again with the mindlink.

And the 17.5% without the mindlink would be stacking penalized? _________________________ . . . but that's just me. |

You can use the spreadsheet I knocked up at http://cyclonic.org/links.xlsx to see all the potential bonuses - doesn't include the t3 ships. Enter your skills and it'll show you the boost you get, easy :)

speaking of which. I personally think CCP should nerf the skill requirements to use those mindlink modules. its ridiculously long to use those and painful for the amount it gives you.

NOOOOO freakin way. NO more skill nerfs. NO, just NO. It's not long at all, I've been training my gang dude for less then 6 months now, and he's already starting to be pretty useful. Do *not* surrender this game to adhd console tards, instead keep rewarding those with even the tiniest speck of patience.

How did it get to ten and where is that 4 coming from and why are you doing additive instead of multiplicative???
Base * (specialist lvl * 1) * (1 + (link specialist * 0.1)) * (1 + (ship skill * 0.03)) * (1.5 if mindlink, 1 otherwise).
so max it is:
2% * (5) * (1.5) * (1.15) * (1.5) = 25.875%
or if you had the skills only at 3 and no mindlink:
2% * (3) * (1.3) * (1.09) * (1) = 8.502%

seems that 200mil for a command ship is a lot less than 6-700mil for a t3 jon, or have you forgotten how to count.

t3 commandship = more isk, less training time, better bonus, safer ship (as compared with fleet cmdship).
Ppl can decide for themselves what's priority for them.
