Hi all
I was mining when something weird happens to me.
A guy just came to the belt in a frigate (11 days old player) and after roaming for a while (at this point I was expecting he was about to flip my can)he has dropped 4 cargo containers which appear white on my overview. furthermore, when I click on the containers' show info, I can see my char portrait as I was the owner of the container ???
I though that if anyone who is not in your corp drop a can this would appear in yellow, isn't it?
I can't understand it...
Any ideas?

First two that come to mind: - you are trolling - you were drunk at the time

Are you sure he dropped the cans? Maybe there were wrecks, which he salvaged and left the cargo behind (cause he didnt want to steal).

Dude, I think you are 100% right as I've realized after think about it.
The situation was like that:
I was mining and my drones killed some rats, the wrecks were floating in space and I just ignore them. Then, they guy who was hanging around, seems like he salvaged the wrecks leaving behind cargo containers belonging to me with my loots inside.
I had no idea that someone can salvage your wrecks w/out getting a red flag.
thanks for give me some light.

Salvage is free-for-all. The wreck "belongs" to the player who killed the ship (if it's a rat), and can be looted and tractored without flagging by all members of the same corporation. Anyone can salvage the wrecks, which will leave a can behind that still "belongs" to the same character. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

It can also be tractored by members in the same fleet even if they are in different corps.

I suspect your overview was set to exclude wrecks and include cans, so this is why they suddenly 'appeared' in the overview.
Salvaging is the most likely explanation. ______________________ Agony Unleashed is proud to support TeaDaze for CSM |
