This has gone on for years. Every time I change from one type of invention to another, the invention set-up window has a hard time finding the new decryptor type. It only lists the old decryptor, which is no longer in the hangar.
Sure, I log out, relog, move stuff in and out of the hanger, log out again, etc... anything to jog the inventory registers... and eventually the problem fixes itself, but this is lame, tedious and time consuming.
So, noob that I am, I must ask: have any of you guys experienced this and if so do you know of a fix or work-around?

I've had this problem too, and tried the fixes you mention. Sometimes I've found the problem solves itself after a few minutes without any intervention, so perhaps there's some hidden refresh cycle, but I haven't tested it. |

Your skill points are clogging the internet web tubes. It's time to reroll.

Kill the "Machonet" cache folder and it should work instantly.

The caching mechanism for decryptors in POS LABs is horrible. Either be very patient or do what Akita suggested.

Thanks for the tips, guys. Come to think of it, I haven't cleaned out my cache in a long time. Maybe that's why yesterday's example took so long to shake out.
Just to be safe, I also took Dolla's suggestion and went ahead and rerolled....
