After having used gunships for a number of years it's for a change. My problem is that my knowledge regarding missiles and torpedoes are fairly limited. I seem to recall that not all the missile support skills works for torpedoes? If that's not the case, I guess I should get:
Rapid launch Missile bombardment Missile launcher operation Missile projection Target navigation prediction Warhead upgrades
To level 4/5?

About the only skill that doesn't work for torpedoes is Guided Missile Precision. Take all of your list to 4. Get one of Missile Projection or Missile Bombardment to 5. Take Torpedoes to 5 and get Torpedo Specialization 4. Get your chosen ship skill to 4. That'll give you a starting point. In the long run, you're going to want every last one of these (except perhaps Warhead Upgrades) to 5. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |

Just to add to this topic...
There are a few implants that increase "missile" attributes (eg, flight time). Do these also work for torps or are they just for things that are missiles, ie heavy missiles, cruise missiles etc?

They all work for torps except the ones that improve explosion radius.

And as a side note to that point, there is one booster (Crash booster I think) that reduces missile explosion radius. That booster does work on torpedoes (and rockets, and HAMS for that matter). It's just that the synth booster is largely worthless and the regular, improved and strong variants are illegal and thus problematic for transporting/using in hi-sec. ______________________________________________________ Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? |
