With the release of Dominion, the reality is that the political landscape WILL change. No one can deny that, no one can change that.
House of Mercury has been watching and waiting and now feels that we will be a part of that new landscape. No more do we want to live in Empire! We are an alliance that has been around for 2 + yrs with a wide range of experience from its leaders and members. HoM is not new to the realm of industry and logistics. We have the miners, the builders and the pvpers. We have always been an alliance with a vision, which can be seen here Mercury Nation (Mercury Nation is the primary corp of HoM, so their site info is the same as HoM). And to that end, we do enjoy a small amount of roleplay.
Now to business, as stated above, things will be changing and to think that anyone will be able to hold everything they currently claim, will lead down the road of false ideals.
As an alliance we are looking for one of two setups, in order of preference:
a) Friends/Allies/Coalition partners - we will hold some sov near you, in a small amount (one or two systems). As friends, we will help you with your pvp ops, logistics, defense, whatever we can - and in return, you help us in similar ways. We will be trustworthy friends in space near you, giving you some security nearby, rather than having a group you don't trust.
b) Rent - we pay you rent, and in return we take sovereignty near you to build up, use your outposts for docking, enjoy your protection, and keep to ourselves and our own projects (or indeed, whatever your particular rental requirements are - which will be discussed).
In return, in addition to above, you will benefit in having an alliance that can be trusted to hold space nearby, easing your burden with regards to other ambitious groups after dominion, and helping prevent people that you don't want from taking sovereignty near you.
We WILL retain our own identity as House of Mercury. We will prove to be trustworthy allies, eager to help, and with friendships that will last beyond the time that we spend near you. In return we are looking for the same thing.
So we are looking for any alliances that are established in 0.0 that would be interested in talking with us more about either of the above options. Please respond to this post or, preferably, send Iron Overlord and/or Kames GreĆnew an evemail in-game.

I can attest to the stability of these folk! They're not bears, and theyre not badasses: they're a perfect balance of both.
