Probed it and warped to it --------------------------------------------

I warped to zero and the resulting crash bumped it (and myself) several AU. It came to a standstill about 2h later and we picked it up. ;) The top speed I have screenshotted is about 62mio km /s , but thats after an hour when I finally got it on overview. The speed indicator for myself only showed 8 digits (99mio m/s). But the top digit was spinning so fast, there mustve been several more above it.

One of you clever little pilots should write a song about bouncing off of stuff. Perhaps a youtube montage of ricochets?
Tom Peeping	Posted - 2009.11.20 19:39:00 - [16] You can use bouncing pretty crazily... There's some moons in game where if you set your bounce spot appropriately, you can bounce yourself multiple AU. One time, mates and I were bouncing off a moon with a station... you could bounce yourself right back to the station grid.
Aurelius Valentius Amarr Imperial Academy	Posted - 2009.11.20 19:52:00 - [17] Recently had a bumb off someone at a gate in a freighter that was interesting... not only did I bump off about 1000kms I did a 180 in it like a intercepter and ended up spinning in the warp bubble... I felt a little like "Q" had smacked me with a "Picard O'smacking"... star streaks and everything... Needless to say I just hit warp to another point and then warped back... best answer to bumpage at this time I guess.

Think my orca went up to something like 6000m/s and ended up one 1-2 kkm from the pos.

vrent9	Posted - 2009.11.21 02:35:00 - [21] If anyone wants to bounce off of a sun, just send me a mail in game and I can arrange it for you. I got a bookmark of the sun by flying straight towards it at 5 kms a second for 5 days straight. It throws you really REALLY far.
