This reminds me of the time that I actually did name my cat Chairman Meow from suggestions on this forum.
Hilarious part is that "Chairman Meow" grew up into "Satan the Cat" (and he does respond to that name XD)

No point in naming the thing. Not like it'll come to you when called. Eventually it'll assume whatever name you give it is what you call its food (which is why most cats give confused looks when their name is called without food present).
If you need to introduce it "That's the cat. It allows us to live here. It is rather kind to do that." works quite nicely.

The vets required our cat to have a name, so we were forced to just choose the best name we had from the current selection we had thought of, and that was it.
But my family picked a name that suited us rather than the cat (having a couple of scientists in the house, we named him Erwin after Schr÷dinger's cat. Ironically he's an especially stupid cat considering he's named after a famous phycisist

I have a 3-4 months old kitten and I think he finally knows about the big sandbox that we call outside (or EVE). He's on a gray area though so we named him Gray ((Grßmi)he's gray and white;).

i have 3 .. we think 9 week old kittens atm (the mother(( a rescue cat )) is v good @ hide n seek and they just appeared in the garden @ we think 3-4 weeks old )
1 is still alittle wild but were working on her and they **** every where but the litter tray but to get to the point we called them
1 Button = jenson button F1 (wife's idea im sure i will pay in the end)
2 MR white = hes long hair n black
3 Sausage = coz i wasn't allowed to call it bacon n sausage fits the idiot
