Calling all Corps within the Evati system to take a stand against the scum that is Red Coursairs.
They are currently blocking the gates at Evati, preying only on the weak, however my past experierience tells me that these lowlifes have little stomach for battle. It will be an easy victory if we unite. |

I can't catch them. They run everytime. I tend to be outfitted for fighting rather than running. Heavy Offense and Defense. If they were committed, they could take me down eventually, but they soon realize they are gonna lose at least one ship, and somebody on their side is gonna get podded. Basically I just pick one of their ships and let loose. While applying shield hardeners and boosters. Taking out the occasional missle barrage with med smart bomb. When one of their members is about to be space dust and I still have 50% or more shields I think they realize what a mistake they made and run for the hills.

I had a run in with them. They didn't bother my other chr's(GOLIA) Thorax, or my ECM Badger II :-) Are they asking for money or just killing? I talked to one of their members and he didn't seem too crazy or anything.

My corp has had a bad time with Red Corsairs as well. We have 2 blackbirds, 2 stabbers, a Vexor, and a slew of Merlins that could join in any military operation. contact me ingame via name Letifer Deus.
They generally ask for 60K for passage through gates, though they have been known to blast ships w/o warning. HAMPSTAH and especially Xochitl are the big problems in that corp.
In reply to you Fexor, no they are not crazy, in fact they are rather smart. I've talked to both HAMPSTAH and Xochitl on numerous ooccasions.

Frerstorn has been taken over by some red corsairs and various other pirates. Reports are one has a battleship.

They're pretty small-time.
They often camp the gates in Siseide, Egghelende, and Anamake.
We've gone after them with 4 - 5 cruisers and they always run.
Occasionally, they'll scout a belt for mining operations, then leave. Of course, shortly thereafter they arrive in force.
They're nasty pirates, but outside the game, I rather like Crepiscule (or however you spell it).. (s)he's pretty original and writes some good stuff on the forums.
I like people who role play.

Last night after posting the topic, one of our members was attacked at the Bei stargate in Hagilur. We quickly mobilised a small force of 3 frigates and a Stabber and suprised them, Sylia was taken down immediately and we almost got the pod kill. The other two sustained massive damage and fled the scene. Who else willing to chase these guys out of town? and I would tell those others to have no fear. They never even got a shot on us.
Good planning and tactics is all we need to stop these campers - I do thank them in part though as the Metropolos region needed a little spice :)

I like them:
They gave me the best times since I bought the game...
I was in a low mining operation cruiser, Exeq. Just piking up some modules in that regionā at that moment my exq had 2 heavy beam lasers with Radio crystals... (not a big fighter yet) when undocking from a station I saw one of them locking on me in a rifter..... but he warp outā When I jumped to the gate and saw him, fighting with two NPC piratesā So since he had a bounty I decide to take him down... he was able to jump with some damage, (I think) and I followed him. At the other side of the jumpgate he was not alone... two stabler and him lock on me.. I warp to the next gate asap , but my cap. was drained down so I have to stop before I made the full trip... Something told that they will be there so I wait until my cap was full,... when my cap was full I warp to the gate and they were waiting for me at the entrance ...they lock on me and I new I didn't have a chance to get to the jumpgate so I warp immediately to another jumpgateā I saw them following and warping to the gate I guess the guy in the rifter was really pist, so I was ready to try to escape by jumping to a planet as soon as I get out of the warp... They were right behind me... when I jumped to the planet...one of them jump to another gate, I guess he did not anticipate my move, but I still have the other two on my tail... I knew by then that my gate was freeā and that I had 1 or 2 seconds in advantage to make the jump and MWD to the gate... they follow me but I jumped first... after that I was able to lose them...
I was happy since I didn't have insurance and I got the cruiser by myself, but they really got my heart pumping...(best time since I got eve) I am working to get a rupture with a friend and some fancy guns... I will go back...

That was me chasing ya. Good chase too. I wanted to follow you through the jumpgate but was told to hold up.

Red Corsair is going to have to deal with GTC, we will help in pod killing RC members bounty or not. RC had 4 players pod kill an unarmed Imicus from GTC. After we get a couple of those responsible we would be happy to talk about a more friendly relationship.

I did somewhat like to be ambushed by Faisal Khan of the Red Corsairs.
The waylaid my Bestower at the gate, and demanded cash or my cargo. As I'm really broke atm, due to buying that Best, I dropped everything I had. Faisal 's a nice einough guy, if he would only abstain from robbing me...
