This raises some questions.
If this drops as loot from NPC's, will these clothes differ from NEX clothing in that they have a chance of dropping as loot from player kills? Will there be a chance of them being destroyed?
If it drops as loot, will we be able to "build" clothing as well?
If they are not destructible, does it set a precedent, or does it not matter?
And finally, how does this affect the "completely player driven" ( more accurately described as "mostly player drive ) market that exists in eve? https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=118961

I'm greatly looking forward to this new content in the virtual dress up game that is Eve Online. Ever since Incarna 99% of my in game time has been spent on SiSi creating, recreating, dressing up and showing off my character's lady bits by walking up and down the ramp leading to my captain's quarters. I hope they add shoulder accessories as well.

I'm quite happy with the green tank top but some new colors would be awesome. You know what an answer is? It's a terminus -- an end. Answers are fine, but questions are where it's at. Questions bring us closer to understanding, -áthey can start a conversation or spark a revolution. So you might as well start asking... now.-á ~See you on the other side 6/6/12~ |

It's a coincidence but all of my characters are made after irl people I know. It's actually quite creepy from their point of view. I get creamies in my panties just thinking of the possibilities once the door in my captain's quarters opens. |

I can appreciate how stalking is kind of a constrained hobby when you're confined to a small dingy room for no apparent reason.
No wonder you are looking forward to stretching your legs for want of a less filthy tern of phrase.
I endorse this too by the way! EVE shall be purged by fire - please Gods let them ALL burn in Jita. |

The "pants" being discussed drop as loot, so all they cost is your ammo.
Other items will be available in loyalty stores for LP.
As for the new items to hit the Nex, they will range from 100 to 500 AUR, so basically they have knocked a zero off the end of the price... which will make a lot of people very happy. When I check troll in the dictionary, it has a photo shopped picture of you standing somewhere in the vicinity of a point.

No and No.
Quote:If it drops as loot, will we be able to "build" clothing as well?
Doing extra work is out of the question in the first place as a general rule. Listen to how much they insist they didn't do any work on it, you can clearly tell that investing time in clothing is not something they want to do.
Quote:If they are not destructible, does it set a precedent, or does it not matter?
Clothing will probably always be invincible. I don't think anybody at CCP is stupid enough to consider making more than that invincible, but we'll see when ship logos/ship skins rolls around.
Quote:And finally, how does this affect the "completely player driven" ( more accurately described as "mostly player drive ) market that exists in eve?
They don't care, they never will. They want to seize micro transactions so badly, and the only place they can get in on that without massive player rage is in vanity items.
The only real chance you have at that is if Twilight Online has a clothing crafting systems, they may use that here. Most likely, its going to be MT funded to make it F2P if the current trend of MMOs is around when they actually release the game. |

"YAAAAY!" The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |

This is by far the dumbest **** I've ever seen on a futuristic space sci-fi, and I know them back from the 80's. You can already see they build the Caldari CQ as a supermodel ramp, with flashes and all. I know its embarassing for people that are inclined to it to go outside and buy some dolls but please don't transform EvE to compensate the social repression you suffered in childhood. It's a wargame. People won't protest again, they will just leave silently as the community becomes more and more vain with time. I know I will.
