Tranquility has undergone an emergency reboot following a database failover. Our engineers are investigating the cause of this issue and we hope to have full service restored shortly. We will use this thread to keep you informed of any developments.

i lost my mission gate. when i warp to mission there is nothing there.

lol Why is a GM locking yet a "Server down" thread that another GM already has refered us to use? :)

This is getting to be annoying, contimplating quitting, just lost 40mil loot/salvage wasted like an hour of my time not sure its even worth playing this game with all these unscheduled downtimes, i mean 10mins prior warning for a downtime earlier, its just stupid. No point petitioning this because they wont even return the isk lost.

I blame London, personally. Not the servers in London. Just London. Probably Boris Johnson cycling through the wall or something like the Kool-Aid guy.

One of the servers in my job crashed the exact same time and came back up the same time as Tranq  |

lost around 5-8 million isk in loot. just glad that the mission was finished.

In the event of an emergency reboot we prefer to have an official thread to provide updates. This also reduces the amount of duplicate threads on the same topic. Now we have the official thread, the others can be locked. Sorry for the confusion folks.

If you can really make 40mil ISK in an hour, why are you complaining about a lost hour 7.5 hours of play time will earn you a plex at that rate.
P.S. If you quit you should give your stuff to me, I can't make 40mil an hour, yet

Anyone that mission runs should be able to make 40mil an hour, i rekon on making 60mil an hour over my 2 accounts...

Just warp back to the location and start burning toward the closest celestial. You will find the gate eventually, it's a common problem after reboots.

Should be investigated, really.
Turns out an IT guy needed an extra dvd drive to test something so decided to pull it one out of a server while it was running hence causing the crash. Loosing the drive had a knock on effect on one of the major software packages that were running on the server  |
