So there I was in Genesis trying to get down to Korridi to help out some corpies.
Scout, not very well diguised, was out a jump ahead.
After finding my second route cut off by a gate camp, I decided to return to hi-sec. This ended up with my scout and drake in the same system for a couple of minutes while sorting out the shortest route.
Nuet in Local states in local that he sees me. So I jump a gate right into a .BONE gatecamp.
Two Drakes, phobos, hurricane, and a Tempest. Fight ensues my Drake pops. While in pod jumped the wrong gate and had to station up. Shortly After local spikes from 3 to 16 plus. Talk about getting BONEd. Many props to a well handeled trap.
TLDR; Got Caught, knew it, tried to fight anyway, got popped, and the guys from .BONE were very civil about it. Hoping to fight again.

so you were in high-sec. you ran into a low-sec system that you hadn't scouted while you had a scout and the whole reason you did this is because some random nub said he sees you in local, in high-sec.
edit: not only that but you ****ing attacked a gatecamp. did you even consider burning back to the gate in your passive tanked drake lol!
i guess you didn't feel like an idiot in game so you thought you'd come here and advertise it, huh?

Reading the story, I see no indication that the OP ever entered high-sec, only that he was planning to do so.

This would be correct. And Did consider burning back to the gate, and I could have possibly saved the drake in the process however, the local spike shortly after I docked up, after losing the drake, said another fleet was moving in from the opposite direction. So yeah.
So yes I made several mistakes, but as this was my first solo roam in awhile. and the neut, was no a random nub he was part of the alliance.
Besides when you know your caught, might as well try take one with ya. Didn't work out that way, but had to try.

eh well i guess i can't laugh as hard... still dude you shouldn't freak out if you think someone might try to hotdrop you, especially on a gate (unless its DT). and don't attack the gate camps, burn back!

well sir, how very kind of you, but being a dead terrorist is about 'location, location, location'. dont be in the wrong place at the right time!
as for the OP to stay on topic, sad to hear about your loss mate, but i wouldnt recommend braving it out against camps, definately reapproach gate. a*phlegm*men
